Mūsdienu pasauli raksturo tehnoloģiju straujā attīstība, kā arī angļu valodas kā lingua franca statusa nostiprināšanās. Diplomdarba mērķis ir atrast rīku, kas nodrošinātu jauniešiem nepieciešamās svešvalodas prasmes. Pētījumā tika ievākti dati no 203 anketām un piecām intervijām ar mērķi noskaidrot vidusskolas skolēnu valodas apguves ieradumus. Pētījums atklāja, ka vidusskolas skolēni savā ikdienā plaši pielieto tehnoloģijas un ir atvērti tehnoloģijās balstītai svešvalodas apguvei. This paper aims to answer the question of why constituent moments are relevant to political theory. It hypothesises the Spanish constitutional debate of 1931 as a case of conceptual innovation in parliamentary politics by arguing that debates in constituent moments entail a special kind of parliamentary argumentation when new political regimes are established. There, all sorts of theoretical, normative, historical, and institutional aspects are discussed to deliberate on the future character and functioning of a political regime. In this paper the author elaborates on reflections about the role of the referendum in the British legal system, well-known to be characterized by a representative democracy, with the intent to examine the evolution of this institute. It is also a comparative study which examines the effects of the consultative referendum in the Spanish legal system and the characteristics and the effects of the legislative referendum in the French legal system in order to identify the analogies and the differences among these referendum.

Ääntäminen antaa ensivaikutelman vieraan kielen puhujan kielitaidosta, ja ymmärrettävä ääntämys on ensisijaisen tärkeää vieraskielisessä vuorovaikutuksessa. Our research fits in the overall framework of French as a Foreign Language oral teaching methods and focuses will deal with the phenomenon of “foreign accent”, those marks that reveal in transparency the presence of the phonological sieve of the mother tongue, and we will focus on the pronunciation of oral vowels in French by Polish-speaking learners. A preliminary study, descriptive and contrastive, of the phonological systems of Polish and French will allow us to make assumptions about perceptible interferences in the pronunciation of spoken French which might be at the origin of noise in the psycholinguistic decoding. The article offers a contribution to the interaction research in the foreign language teaching and learning. It starts with an overview of various research approaches to the foreign language teaching and learning, from the 60s to the present days. A multimodal analysis of an excerpt of videorecorded classroom interaction is then provided. The analysis is focused on several aspects of classroom participation and teaching sequences. Some implications of the present research for teachers' training are finally provided.

Financial Fragmentation and Economic Growth in Europe

Using industry data from Eurostat and applying the Rajan-Zingales methodology, we investigate the real growth effects of banking sector integration in the European Union. Our sample stretches from 2000 until 2012 and includes the phase of rapid financial integration before the global financial crisis as well as the following phase of financial fragmentation and bank deleveraging. We find evidence that banking sector integration had a more than four times stronger growth effect during the crisis than in normal times.
