The study explores mothers’ of premature infants experience of how health centers especially adapted for families with premature infants can help them to cope with everyday life after discharge from a neonatal intensive care unit. Background: Premature children are at higher risk for physical and mental health problems, which makes parenting demanding. The transition between hospital and home is a challenging period where parents may need extra support to cope with everyday life. El presente estudio tiene por objetivo analizar la influencia del sexo, la actividad física practicada por los padres, la existencia de hermanos/as mayores o de igual edad y la práctica de actividad física extraescolar sobre el nivel de coordinación motriz global. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 23 niñas y 32 niños de entre 8-9 años (M = 8,51; DT = 0,31), pertenecientes al tercer curso de Educación Primaria. The article concerns the choices between career and the upbringing of children which home educating parents make, having to provide constant care for them since they decided not to send them to school. It presents the results of qualitative studies done in Poland (2012–2019) made by narrative interview and virtual ethnography. It focuses on mothers-educators, because women are more involved in the education of children. This study focuses on parents’ and teachers’ perceptions of practices aimed at easing the transition to formal schooling (e.g., familiarization with the school, discussions about the school entrants). A total of 230 preschool teachers, 131 elementary school teachers, and 2,662 mothers and fathers filled in a questionnaire containing items on how important they considered different preschool-school transition practices. The participants considered the various transition practices to be at least somewhat important. Downed distribution conductors in overhead distribution systems may not be a concern for equipment but greatly challenge the safety of persons, as well as the integrity of properties. Standard overcurrent protective devices may not be able to detect the magnitudes of currents resulting from high-impedance ground faults. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos 2-os klasės mokinių ir jų tėvų įsitikinimų apie lietuvių kalbos mokymąsi sąsajos su mokinių pasiekimais. Nustatyta, kad mokinių įsitikinimai apie savo gebėjimus, susidomėjimas lietuvių kalba, tėvų lūkesčiai bei 2-os klasės pasiekimai tarpusavyje siejasi teigiamais ryšiais. Kontroliuojant vaiko lytį, tėvų išsilavinimą bei 1-os klasės pasiekimus, geresnius pasiekimus 2-oje klasėje prognozuoja aukštesni tėvų lūkesčiai ir geresni vaikų savų gebėjimų vertinimai.
