Industrial policies of innovation concentrate on funding or encouraging promising innovations entailing growth or that have possibilities of internationalization. However, concrete innovation process happens in and between individuals. Effectuation is a logic that is emergent and iterative in nature. Studying radical organizational innovation through grounded theory

The main aim of this article is to study the social processes occurring during the implementation of radical organizational innovation. Our aim is to understand the nature of the development of radical innovation by identifying the social processes, that are taking place. The perspective for the analysis stems from “grounded theory” as a generative and inductive analytical strategy (Glaser & Strauss, 1967). An in-depth case study was thoroughly analysed. An empirical study about the effect of cultural problematic on organizational learning in alliances

In an environment where favoring organizational learning is imperative, the option of business cooperation is considered an optimal means to transmit knowledge between companies and to encourage the generation of new ones. But differences in organizational cultures of the cooperation partners can make this process difficult. Through an empirical study of small and medium‐sized companies that had established international cooperation agreements during 1997 and 1998 in the Valencian community (Spain), the influence of the differences in size and in national culture of the partners in organizational learning is observed.

Integrating human resource management into lean production and their impact on organizational performance

PurposeThe first goal of this research is to analyse the effects of lean production (LP) on the policy of human resource management (HRM).
