(1) Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the day-to-day variability and year-to-year reproducibility of an accelerometer-based algorithm for sit-to-stand (STS) transitions in a free-living environment among community-dwelling older adults. Design of temperature control system using conventional PID and Intelligent Fuzzy Logic controller

In this paper, we present the design of temperature control for industrial heat treating furnace by using Intelligent Fuzzy Logic and PID controllers. Temperature control is important in heating processes as it can disqualify materials in terms of their physical properties when not well performed. Obviously PID temperature controller is the most used in industries to control non-linear processes. Consequently, it has been found that the output response from Fuzzy Logic is very accurate in terms of overshoot and steady state error when compared to that of PID. Moreover, both temperature controllers are modeled and simulated using MATLAB software.

L'efficacia tocolitica è stata valutata in termini di numero di donne che non hanno parrorito dopo 48 ore e dopo 7 giorni dall'inizio della terapia. La sicurezza del farmaco, invece, in termini di effetti collaterali materni e morbilità neonatale. The popularity of ionic liquids (ILs) has grown during the last decades in several analytical separation techniques. Consequently, the number of reports devoted to the applications of ILs is still increasing. This review is focused on the use of ILs (mainly imidazolium-based associated to chloride and tetrafluoroborate) as mobile phase additives in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). In this approach, ILs just function as salts, but keep several kinds of intermolecular interactions, which are useful for chromatographic separations.
