Because of containment policies, migrants between departure and destination encounter barriers and gray zones. They remain trapped in these places, where the asymmetry of power is exercised by force. Such places are tolerated as they are functional to the capitalist system. Planned refugee camps are part of this system; they are conceived as temporary devices to save human lives but are organized externally and self-organization is prevented. Can our discipline re-appropriate these issues often delegated to political and functionalist choices and provide effective answers? In the global landscape of migration, the experience of the Sahrawi can be a model of self-management and participation.

The results of the study of many specimens preserved in different European museums are reported. The tribe Terpnistrini Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878 is resurrected. The distribution of the following species is enhanced: Pardalotaasymmetrica Karsch, 1896, Diogenadenticulata Chopard, 1954, Diogenafausta (Burmeister, 1838), Plangiopsisadeps Karsch, 1896, Poreuomenasanghensis Massa, 2013 and Tylopsiscontinua (Walker, 1869). Demands and Challenges : Experiences of Ethiopian Rural School Teachers

Rural schools in Ethiopia are characterized by high drop-out rates, a lack of teaching materials, and low learning achievements. This study examines the experiences of teachers who work in such schools and emphasizes that their work can make significant contributions to the development of education in Ethiopia. The paper seeks to answer a question: ‘How do the teachers perceive their work situation and how could this be improved?’ The findings show that according to teachers’ opinion the current principal challenge is the tension between strict curriculum requirements, associated with annual testing, and follow-up, while the government insists that teaching should be more student centered. …

En 1961, la Sección Femenina empieza a desarrollar en las colonias africanas las labores que venía llevando en la España franquista desde 1939. Esta institución, que nació como la organización de mujeres del partido fascista Falange Española y de las JONS, venía ejerciendo en la metrópolis las funciones de dispositivo de encuadramiento de las mujeres.
