Women's Appearance as the Focus of Attention in Organizations

This teaching case focuses on appearance and gender discrimination in the workplace. Previous studies show, for example, that appearance, women’s especially, can be an invisible mechanism of discrimination and interpreted as a justification for sexual and gender-based harassment. Prior research also indicates that women suffer from gendered ageism, also related to looks. Aiemmissa tutkimuksissa maastohiihdon tasatyönnön kinematiikasta on löytynyt erilaisiatasatyöntöstrategioita. Eräs aiempi tutkimus jaotteli tasatyöntötekniikat leveät kyynärpäät –ja kapeat kyynärpäät – tekniikkoihin perustuen tekniikoiden erilaisiin ominaispiirteisiin.Kyseisessä tutkimuksessa havaittiin myös, että leveät kyynärpäät – tekniikallavoimantuotto oli suurempaa. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan aerobista taloudellisuuttakahdella maastohiihdon tasatyönnön tekniikalla submaksimaalisella nopeudellatasatyöntöergometrillä. Dopo un inquadramento sistematico delle impugnazioni penali, ci si sofferma sui principi, con particolare riguardo alla tassatività, all'interesse a impugnare alla legittimazione e alla unicità dell'impugnazione. Quindi vengono analizzati gli aspetti formali dell'atto di impugnazione: forma termini luogo e modo di presentazione. Viene prestata particolare attenzione alle novità introdotte dalla c.d. Viens no tiešās demokrātijas izpausmes veidiem ir vēlētāju likumdošanas iniciatīva, kas ļauj pilsoņu kopumam piedalīties likumdošanas procesā, tādējādi izsakot savu gribu un lemjot par sev svarīgiem un nozīmīgiem jautājumiem. This article reports on research examining the intensity and forms of partnership between civil society organisations (particularly non-profit non-governmental organisations with a focus on students with a different mother tongue) and schools in three European geographical areas, answering three research questions: (1) What services do non-profits offer for teachers?
