La separazione dei poteri è un criterio ordinatore dell’ordinamento costituzionale che, tuttavia, non è osservato nel diritto positivo in modo assoluto. Separation of palladium and silver from E-waste leachate : effect of nitric acid concentration on adsorption to Thiol scavenger

The development of recovery techniques for metals present in low concentrations in E-waste, such as silver and palladium, is important from the aspect of the circular economy. Adsorption of palladium and silver was studied in detail in a batch process with silica-based Thiol scavenger from nitric acid leachate of waste printed circuit boards (PCBs). High adsorption efficiencies of Pd(II) and Ag(I), >97%, were reached in nitric acid concentrations below 3 mol L−1. At higher acid concentrations, adsorption efficiency of Ag(I) decreased drastically which enables the separation of Ag(I) and Pd(II) based on nitric acid concentration in sample solution. Tutkimus käsittelee yhteisöstä erottamisen ja siihen takaisinliittymisen mahdollisuuksia rikostaustaisten naisten elämässä. Tutkimuksen kohteena ovat rikostaustaisten naisten kertomukset elämänkulustaan. Tutkimuksessa analysoidaan naisten kertomuksia siirtymäriittiteorian eli yhteisöstä erottamisen, liminaalin ja takaisinliittämisen näkökulmasta. Aineisto on kerätty haastattelemalla 18 naista, jotka haastatteluhetkellä olivat joko suorittamassa vankeusrangaistustaan, ehdonalaisen vapauden valvonnassa tai rangaistuksensa suorittaneet. Research on social networks and innovation emphasizes that individuals spanning structural holes and crossing institutional boundaries have more opportunities for knowledge recombination and innovation involvement. The results of an experimental investigation on pressure drop and heat transfer in spacer-filled plane channels, which are representative of Membrane Distillation units, are presented and discussed. Local and mean heat transfer coefficients were obtained by using Thermochromic Liquid Crystals and Digital Image Processing. Model selection using limiting distributions of second-order blind source separation algorithms

Signals, recorded over time, are often observed as mixtures of multiple source signals. To extract relevant information from such measurements one needs to determine the mixing coefficients. In case of weakly stationary time series with uncorrelated source signals, this separation can be achieved by jointly diagonalizing sample autocovariances at different lags, and several algorithms address this task. Detecting invisible details and separating mixed evidence is critical for forensic inspection. If this can be done reliably and fast at the crime scene, irrelevant objects do not require further examination at the laboratory. This will speed up the inspection process and release resources for other critical tasks. This article reports on tests which have been carried out at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland together with the Central Finland Police Department and the National Bureau of Investigation for detecting and separating forensic details with hyperspectral technology.
