Time resolved emission at 1.3 μm of a single InAs quantum dot by using a tunable fibre Bragg grating

Photoluminescence and time resolved photoluminescence from single metamorphic InAs/GaAs quantum dots (QDs) emitting at 1.3 mu m have been measured by means of a novel fibre-based characterization set-up. We demonstrate that the use of a wavelength tunable fibre Bragg grating filter increases the light collection efficiency by more than one order of magnitude as compared to a conventional grating monochromator. We identified single charged exciton and neutral biexciton transitions in the framework of a random population model. Measurement of transverse energy at midrapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV

We report the transverse energy (ET) measured with ALICE at midrapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV as a function of centrality. The transverse energy was measured using identified single-particle tracks. The measurement was cross checked using the electromagnetic calorimeters and the transverse momentum distributions of identified particles previously reported by ALICE. The results are compared to theoretical models as well as to results from other experiments. The mean ET per unit pseudorapidity (η), dET/dη , in 0%–5% central collisions is 1737 ± 6(stat.) ± 97(sys.) GeV. In this work we study systematically the energetics and intensity distributions of Gamow-Teller (GT ± )and isovector spin monopole (IVSM ± ) transitions from the ground states of the pairs ( 76 Ge, 76 Se), ( 82 Se, 82 Kr), ( 100 Mo, 100 Ru), ( 116 Cd, 116 Sn), ( 128 Te, 128 Xe), ( 130 Te, 130 Xe), and ( 136 Xe, 136 Ba), of double-beta-decay initial and final nuclei, to the J π = 1 + excited states of the intermediate odd-odd nuclei 76 As, 82 Br, 100 Tc, 116 In, 128 , 130 I, and 136 Cs. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, millaisia valtadiskursseja albumiformaatin tulevaisuutta käsittelevässä aineistossa esiintyy. Tämän lisäksi tutkittiin sitä, missä yhteyksissä taiteelliset arvot näyttäytyivät valtadiskurssien vaikutuskeinoina selonteoissa. Tutkimus toteutettiin kriittisenä diskurssianalyysinä käyttäen Norman Faircloughin aiempia tutkimustuloksia analyysin pohjana.
