The linearized Calderón problem on complex manifolds

International audience; In this note we show that on any compact subdomain of a Kähler manifold that admits sufficiently many global holomorphic functions , the products of harmonic functions form a complete set. This gives a positive answer to the linearized anisotropic Calderón problem on a class of complex manifolds that includes compact subdomains of Stein manifolds and sufficiently small subdomains of Kähler manifolds. Some of these manifolds do not admit limiting Carleman weights, and thus cannot by treated by standard methods for the Calderón problem in higher dimensions. The argument is based on constructing Morse holo-morphic functions with approximately prescribed critical points.…

The therapeutic use of antibodies has grown exponentially, providing new treatment options for various diseases. Monitoring treatment with therapeutic antibodies is a particular challenge because often the target antigen is no longer measurable or the results are unreliable. To overcome this problem, a recovery-ELISA was developed to quantify therapeutic antibody and antigen by a modification of the traditional sandwich immunoassay using omalizumab as an example. Standard serum samples were spiked with IgE and omalizumab in a certain concentration range to create standard curves. Comparison of several methods used for the determination of cephalosporins. Analysis of cephalexin in pharmaceutical samples

The precision of UV absorbance of intact and acid degraded cephalosporins, ninhydrin, high performance liquid chromatography and iodometric methods used for analysis of cefoxitin, cefotaxime, cephazolin and cephalexin were compared. To obtain the calibration graphs the analytical signal used were: absorbance, first derivative absorbance, second derivative absorbance and H-point Standard Additions Method by using absorbance values at two selected wavelengths as analytical signal. These methods and calibration graphs were also used for the determination of cephalexin in pharmaceutical samples.

Balanced Words Having Simple Burrows-Wheeler Transform

The investigation of the "clustering effect" of the Burrows-Wheeler transform (BWT) leads to study the words having simple BWT , i.e. words w over an ordered alphabet $A=\{a_1,a_2,\ldots,a_k\}$, with $a_1 < a_2 < \ldots <a_k$, such that $bwt(w)$ is of the form $a_k^{n_k} a_{k-1}^{n_{k-1}} \cdots a_1^{n_1}$, for some non-negative integers $n_1, n_2, \ldots, n_k$. We remark that, in the case of binary alphabets, there is an equivalence between words having simple BWT, the family of (circular) balanced words and the conjugates of standard words. Extensions of cocycles for hyperfinite actions and applications

Given a countable, hyperfinite, ergodic and measure-preserving equivalence relationR on a standard probability space (X, ℬ, μ) and an elementW of the normalizerN (R) ofR, we investigate the problem of extendingR-cocycles to\(\bar R\), where\(\bar R\) is the relation generated byR andW. As an application, we obtain that for a Bernoulli automorphism the smallest family of natural factors in sense of [6] consists of all factors. Given an automorphism which is embeddable in a measurable flow and a compact, metric group, we show that for a typical cocycle we cannot lift the whole flow to the centralizer of the corresponding group extension.
