Invertebrate biomass is considered one of the main factors driving processes in ecosystems. It can be measured directly, primarily by weighing individuals, but more often indirect estimators are used. We developed two indirect and non-destructive approaches to estimate biomass of small invertebrates in a simple manner. The first one was based on clay modelling and the second one was based on image analysis implemented with open-source software. Furthermore, we tested the accuracy of the widely used geometric approximation method (third method). Lai izstrādātu minētos ieteikumus, nepieciešams analizēt pieejamo informāciju un salīdzināt rīku iespējas. Darbā ir detalizēti apskatīti un savā starpā salīdzināti 4 visbiežāk pielietotie Oracle PL/SQL vienībtestēšanas rīki. Darba rezultāts ir izveidoti ieteikumi Oracle PL/SQL vienībtestēšanas rīka vai ietvara izvēlē, ieviešanā un lietošanā atkarībā no dažādiem faktoriem.

Promocijas darbs ir izstrādāts disertācijas veidā fizikas nozarē materiālu fizikas apakšnozarē. Pētījums tika veikts LU Materiālu mehānikas institūtā. Darbs saistīts ar aktuālu un jaunu pētījumu virzienu: bioinspirēto funkciju tālāku attīstīšanu slodzi nesošos kompozītos. Tās ir mehānisku triecienu vizuālās indikācijas un polimēru matricas vaskulārās pašdziedināšanas funkcijas. Šīs funkcijas tika nodrošinātas, izveidojot viedus slāņus un iebūvējot tos kompozītā. Publisher Copyright: © 2023 The Authors River lampreys (Lampetra fluviatilis) were caught in the fall 2014 on entering the River Perhonjoki for spawning and kept at a hatchery until spawning in late spring 2015 to produce larvae for compensatory stockings. Since the lampreys died massively from early February onwards, they were investigated in March and May to clarify the cause of the deaths. The symptoms in lampreys resembled those of lipid-related thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency of salmonines, called the M74 syndrome in the Baltic Sea area. Pētījuma rezultāti spēj veicināt izvēli par labu konkrētam testēšanas paņēmienam, saskaņā ar novērtēšanas veidu un mērķi, tēmu, mērķauditoriju un vidi. Darba teorētiskā daļa ir balstīta uz Arthur Hughes (2003), Scott Thornbury (2002), John Read (2000) un Penny Ur (1999) teorijas. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a cornerstone of the next-generation digital sky and is now mandated in several countries. However, there have been many reports of serious security vulnerabilities in the ADS-B architecture. In this paper, we demonstrate and evaluate the impact of multiple cyberattacks on ADS-B via remote radio frequency links that affected various network, processing, and display subsystems used within the ADS-B ecosystem. Overall we implemented and tested 12 cyberattacks on ADS-B in a controlled environment, out of which 5 attacks were presented or implemented for the first time.
