Bakalaura darbā aplūkoti stilistisko izteiksmes līdzekļu veidi un to lietojuma biežums 100 IT produktu saukļos. Pateicoties pieprasījumam un straujajam tehnoloģiskajam progresam, IT ir viena no mūsdienu lielākajām un visstraujāk augošajām uzņēmējdarbības nozarēm visā pasaulē. Bakalaura darba empīriskā daļa tika veidota, veicot kvalitatīvu un kvantitatīvu satura analīzi. Statistiskās arbitražas stratēģijas un to pielietojuma iespējas kriptovalūtu tirgū

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt statistiskās arbitrāžas stratēģiju un to pielietojuma iespējas kriptovalūtu tirgū, novērtēt šo stratēģiju iespējamo ienesīgumu, kā arī noskaidrot vai kriptovalūtu tirgū pastāv tirgus efektivitātē. Darbā sniegts kriptovalūtas tirgus un tirdzniecības metožu pārskats, ka arī statistiskas arbitrāžas metodoloģijas izpēte. Balstoties uz kointegrācijas sakarību tika izveidotas vairākas statistiskas arbitrāžas stratēģijas 30 dažadām kriptovalūtam. Stratēģijas tika notestētas ar simulēšanu uz dienas un augstas frekvences datiem. It is estimated that in 2010, 1 in every 250 adults will be a childhood cancer survivor. Today, oncological surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy achieve relatively high rates of remission and long-term survival, yet are often detrimental to fertility. Quality of life is increasingly important to long-term survivors of cancer, and one of the major quality-of-life issues is the ability to produce and raise normal children. Developments in the near future in the emerging field of fertility preservation in cancer survivors promise to be very exciting. Impairment of male fertility is one of the major public health issues worldwide. Nevertheless, genetic causes of male sub- and infertility can often only be suspected due to the lack of reliable and easy-to-use routine tests. Yet, the development of a marker panel is complicated by the large quantity of potentially predictive markers. Actually, hundreds or even thousands of genes could have fertility relevance. Presence of Blastocystis in gut microbiota is associated with cognitive traits and decreased executive function.

Growing evidence implicates the gut microbiome in cognition. Blastocystis is a common gut single-cell eukaryote parasite frequently detected in humans but its potential involvement in human pathophysiology has been poorly characterized. Here we describe how the presence of Blastocystis in the gut microbiome was associated with deficits in executive function and altered gut bacterial composition in a discovery (n = 114) and replication cohorts (n = 942). We also found that Blastocystis was linked to bacterial functions related to aromatic amino acids metabolism and folate-mediated pyrimidine and one-carbon metabolism.
