Corticospinal and intracortical excitability is modulated in the knee extensors after acute strength training

The corticospinal responses to high-intensity and low-intensity strength-training of the upper limb are modulated in an intensity-dependent manner. Whether an intensity-dependent threshold occurs following acute strength training of the knee extensors (KE) remains unclear. We assessed the corticospinal responses following high-intensity (85% of maximal strength) or low-intensity (30% of maximal strength) KE strength-training with measures taken during an isometric KE task at baseline, post-5, 30 and 60-min. Atriebības pornogrāfija ir jauns fenomens, kurš attīstās līdz ar mūsdienu tehnoloģiju attīstību. Valstij ir uzlikts pienākums aizsargāt indivīda tiesības uz privāto dzīvi. Ar atriebības pornogrāfijas publikāciju šīs tiesības tiek aizskartas un informācija kļūs pieejama neierobežotai auditorijai. Darba ietvaros pētīts atriebības pornogrāfijas jēdziens, tās tiesiskais regulējums dažādās pasaules valstīs un tiesu prakse. Izstrādājot darbu ir izveidotas vairākas rekomendācijas likumu grozījumiem, lai Latvijas Republikas ietvaros tiktu kriminalizēta atriebības pornogrāfija tādējādi kvalitatīvāk aizsargājot personas tiesības uz privāto dzīvi.

International audience; Si la théorie financière traditionnelle offre des outils permettant de choisir les investissements optimaux pour les actionnaires, elle ne permet d'expliquer ni leurs caractéristiques (nature des actifs, horizon...), ni les différentes dimensions du processus décisionnel (acteurs impliqués, règles de décision...) qui les régit. Comme le montre cet article, l'élargissement du paradigme néoclassique permet d'intégrer certaines dimensions organisationnelles pouvant contribuer à construire une véritable théorie explicative de l'investissement.

Cet article étudie dans quelle mesure la politique d'investissement ainsi que la gestion opérationnelle des firmes françaises reprises dans le cadre d'un leveraged buy-out (LBO) peuvent expliquer la dégradation de leur surperformance après l'opération. L'étude empirique porte sur 132 LBO réalisés en France de 1989 à 1994. Les résultats obtenus montrent qu'on ne peut expliquer la réduction anormale de la rentabilité économique de ces firmes par un effet mécanique imputable à des surinvestissements, ni par une dérive de la gestion de leurs actifs et passifs d'exploitation.
