The description of several genes linked to ALS (e.g., SOD1, FUS, TARDP, C9orf72) has now allowed identification of pre-symptomatic carriers. These pre-symptomatic (or even preclinical) carriers can be followed up with the aim to identify the very early clinical disease-related changes or a valuable biomarker. As discussed in literature, the accurate analysis of the modern co-cured joints between composite materials or between a metal and a composite material (hybrid joints) is complicated by the influence of the interface resin layer on the interface singular stress field. In such joints, in fact, there is not a proper adhesive layer and the thickness of the resin layer, that plays the role of the adhesive, is not constant due to the presence of the reinforcing fibers in the composite adherent. UV detection is interesting for combustion optimization, air contamination control, fire and solar blind rocket launching detection. Most of these applications require that UV detectors have a huge dynamic response between UV and the visible, and a very low dark current in the range of the UV flux measured. (Al,Ga)N alloys present a large direct bandgap in this range and therefore can be used as an active region in such detectors. To take advantage of the large Schottky barrier, the good alloy quality, and to avoid any doping problems, we have developed MSM photodetectors. Stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju saistība ar emocionālo intelektu strādājošiem un nestrādājošiem studentiem

Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saistību starp emocionālo intelektu un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju izvēli strādājošu un nestrādājošu studentu izlasēs. Pētījumā piedalījās 67 studējoši respondenti vecumā no 20 līdz 35 gadiem, vecuma intervālos: no 20 līdz 25 gadi (N=32), no 25 līdz 30 gadi (N=14), no 30 līdz 35 gadi (N=21). Respondentu sadalījums pa dzimumiem sievietes (N=54) un vīrieši (N=13). Respondenti ir strādājoši un nestrādājoši studenti, kuri mācās bakalaura programmās. Pētījumā tika pielietotas divas aptaujas: Stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja un Emocionālā intelekta aptauja.
