A Novel One-Dimensional Cyano-Bridged Ni3Fe2 Ferromagnet Constructed from Bimetallic Molecular Squares

Reaction of the complex [Ni(rac-CTH)](2+) (rac-CTH = rac-5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) with [Fe(CN)(6)](3-) leads to a novel cyano-bridged Ni(3)Fe(2) complex, [[Ni(rac-CTH)](3)[Fe(CN)(6)](2)](4). The structure consists of an alternating arrangement of [Fe(CN)(6)Ni(rac-CTH)](2) squares and trans-planar [Ni(rac-CTH)](2+) units bridged by cyanide groups to give a neutral 1D chain running along the a axis. Magnetic measurements reveal the occurrence of ferromagnetic coupling between Fe(III) and Ni(II) ions and 3D magnetic ordering at 3 K due to interchain interactions. Long‐Range Order in Layered Perovskite Salts – Structure and Magnetic Properties of [(CH 3 ) 2 CHCH 2 NH 3 ] 2 CuX 4 (X = Cl, Br)

The synthesis, structure, and magnetic properties of two new layered perovskite-type copper halide salts are reported. Dominant ferromagnetic coupling is observed with J/k = 14.58(1) and 21.5(4) K for the Cl and Br salts, respectively. For [(iBA)2CuCl4] (1); (iBA = isobutylammonium): P21/c with a = 13.9481(8) A, b = 7.5061(4) A, c = 7.5133(4) A and β = 102.520(1)° with Z = 4. In this structure, planar CuCl42– ions are linked together into layers of corner-sharing distorted octahedra. Ferromagnetic ordering occurs at Tc = 6.5 K for 1 with spin canting. Hysteresis loops show a coercive field of 2 mT with rapid saturation at 2 K that persists up to T = 9 K. The bromide salt is not isomorphous …
Magnetic properties of MoS 2 nanotubes doped with lithium

DC magnetization measurements of lithium-doped molybdenum sulfide nanotubes (LixMoS2, 2.2 10 kOe, the nonlinear part in H<5 kOe with saturation at approximately 10 kOe can be observed. This suggests a formation of ferromagnetic clusters even at room temperature. No magnetic phase transition between 2 and 300 K has been detected.
Structure and magnetic properties of [(REDA)Cl]2CuCl4 salts: A new series of ferromagnetic layer perovskites

Abstract The preparation, structure and magnetic properties of two mono- N -substituted ethylenediammonium copper chloride salts are reported. Both [(MEDA)Cl] 2 CuCl 4 and [(EEDA)Cl] 2 CuCl 4 assume monoclinic layered perovskite A 2 CuCl 4 type structures (here MEDA 2+ is the N -methylethylenediammonium dication and EEDA 2+ is the N -ethylethylenediammonium dication). In these structures, planar CuCl 4 2 - ions are linked together into layers of corner-sharing distorted octahedra via semi-coordinate Cu⋯Cl bonds. Integrēta mācību satura un valodas apguve (CLIL) kļūst arvien vairāk izmantota vispārizglītojošās skolās visā Eiropā. Arodskolās Latvijā ir nepieciešams uzlabot izglītības ieguves procesu un šī metode varētu būt risinājums. Šajā diplomdarbā apskatīts kā izveidot kritērijus materiālu izstrādei, lai sekmētu integrēta mācību satura un valodas apguvi arodskolā. Darbā iekļauti izstrādātie integrēta mācību satura un valodas apguves materiāli, kuri izstrādāti, lai izmantotu angļu valodas un mārketinga mācīšanai arodskolā. Pharmacodynamic approach to study the gene transfer process employing non-viral vectors

Abstract In the present work we set out to apply pharmacodynamic concepts derived from dose–response curves (Potency and Efficacy) to characterize the gene transfer efficiency of a vector:DNA complex. We employed two widely used vectors, the cationic lipid DOTAP (N,N,N-trimethyl 1-2-3-bis (1-oxo-9-octa-decenyl)oxy-(Z,Z)-1-propanaminium methyl sulfate) and the cationic polymer PEI (polyethylenimine, 800 kDa) to transfect several constructions of the green fluorescent protein cDNA. Early C3A hydration in the presence of different kinds of calcium sulfate.

International audience; Hydration reactions of C3A with various amounts of calcium sulfate hemihydrate, gypsum or a mixture of two, were investigated by isothermal microcalorimetry, and a monitoring of the ionic concentrations of diluted suspensions. This study shows that sulfate type used modifies the early C3A-CaSO4 hydration products and the rate of this hydration. The fast initial AFm formation observed before ettringite precipitation in the C3A-gypsum system is avoided as soon as hemihydrate is present in the suspension. Šī darba ietvaros tika apskatīti vairāki veidi, kas ļauj optimizēt tīmekļa lietotņu lejupielādes laiku un klienta puses ātrdarbību. Tika aplūkota satura optimizācijas tēma, kurā tika apskatītas iespējas samazināt nevajadzīgās lejupielādes, tekstuālu datu apjoma samazināšana, HTTP pieprasījumu un atbilžu kešdarbe, efektīva nepieciešamo resursu pārvalde. Tika apskatītas darbības, kas ļautu pēc iespējas ātrāk sākt tīmekļa lapu atveidošanu, jeb samazināt kritisko renderēšanas ceļu. Kā arī, tika aplūkoti procesi, kas tiek veikti pie tīmekļa lapu atveidošanas, un iespējas uzlabot šo procesu ātrdarbību.
