Implementing kiva antibullying program in pioner schools in Spain

This study analyzes the implementation of the KiVa Antibullyiing program in Spain with 10 pioneer schools. This research has two aims. The first is a preliminary evaluation of the KiVa program’s implementation in the pioneer schools in Spain. To do so, the perceived levels of bullying and victimization have been analyzed through the surveys done anonymously by the students of 10 KiVa schools before and after the program’s implementation. A book of the Indian spiritual master Jddu Krishnamurti (Education and the Significance of life), translated in 1958 by Aldo Visalberghi and published by La Nuova Italia, contained anti-educational and provocative proposals unrelated to the interests of the pedagogists. There was, by the academic world, a timid curiosity about the critical and polemical elements of the Krishnamurtian philosophy, that ignored or misunderstood the new and original conception of the school, that pedagogy can now reconsiders for a critic reflection about the new educational emergencies.

This paper focuses on the need to work on co-responsability between school and family. This aim is developed assuming that a growing interest on quality schools involves the construction of significant alliances. Building a common "Pact" between these two important educational agencies means increasing a global and meaningful development of the students.
