Resumen basado en el de la publicación Resumen en inglés Se presenta una revisión sobre la efectividad de las prácticas en educación científica en los niveles secundario y terciario. A través de la revisión de más de cien referencias, se concluye que no se han proporcionado argumentos sólidos para justificar la gran cantidad de recursos materiales y humanos necesarios para la implementación de esta herramienta educativa. Building natural science learning through youth science camps

This study focuses on a youth science camp for pupils in sixth to ninth grades that is organized annually by the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. The main idea of the science camp is to learn to do guided inquiry in nature. The study investigates the significance of science camp for encouraging young participants to learn science and how the camp supports their learning. The research method used was a survey. Altogether, 47 youth participated in the camp in 2012 and 2013. The results show that the participants wanted to learn more about science than secondary school could offer, and science camp had a positive impact on their interest in science. Este trabajo analiza las relaciones entre la formación, la investigación en didáctica y la práctica docente del profesorado de ciencias de secundaria. La muestra no probabilística está formada por 55 profesores de secundaria. La metodología elegida es de tipo mixto (cuantitativo-cualitativo) y utiliza tres instrumentos complementarios: un cuestionario, un protocolo de observación en el aula y una entrevista. Inquiry-based teaching has been at the heart of science education since it was first outlined in national standards over a decade ago. To adapt all-immersive digitalization, the Finnish National Curriculum 2014 (FNC-2014) ‘digi-jumps’ by integrating programming into elementary education. However, applying the change to mathematics teachers’ everyday praxis is hindered by a too high-level specification.
