Robust Finite-Time Control of Switched Linear Systems and Application to a Class of Servomechanism Systems
2015
This paper investigates finite-time (FT) stability and stabilization problems for a class of switched linear systems with polytopic uncertainties. Both stable and unstable subsystems are considered to coexist in the system, and a new concept of extended FT stability is proposed as the first attempt. A stability criterion is first established, where the admissible maximum switching number is obtained while ensuring extended FT stability of switched linear systems with time-varying delays under a given maximum ratio between the running time of unstable subsystems and the running time of stable subsystems. Sufficient conditions on the existence of desired memory state-feedback controllers are …
An Analysis Method of the Electro-Hydraulic Rotational Module
2012
The paper presents a dynamic research of a rotational module of structure to industrial robot MA 221, to establish the functional characteristics that recommend it for use in the structure of the robot. Actual research performed by two methods: BODE and STEP response of the established the construction parameters values of electro-hydraulic servo-system for stable operation.
Researches Regarding the Use of Elctrohydraulic Servosystems at Industrial Robots
2012
This paper presents some researches regarding the use of electro-hydraulic servo-systems in driving the industrial robots, taking into consideration the conditions in which the robots work. The researches conducted upon a particular system, reveal the optimum design elements for obtaining a good behaviour in use, subsequently a good stability in use.
Extended friction model of a hydraulic actuated system
2012
The main contribution of this paper is an experimental validation and comparison of three different friction models for an electro-hydraulic servo system. The first is the well-kn own LuGre model which incorporates dynamic friction effects. The second model is based on a relatively recent publication by Yanada in 2008 [6], which incorporates liquid film thickness in the servo valve. The third model is a new contribution presented in this paper, where valve underlap and mass acceleration are combined with the LuGre model. The experimental results show that for hydraulic systems, the film thickness model is an improvement over the LuGre model, while the new model presented in this paper is an…
Adaptive Energy Management Strategy for Optimal Power Flow Control of Hybrid DC Microgrid
2020
In this work, an adaptive energy management strategy (AEMS) is proposed to achieve the optimal power flow control of off grid connected hybrid DC Microgrid (MG) against time varying source and load dynamics. The hybrid DC MG considered in this paper is operating with a solar PV array and mini hydro power plant (MHPP) as power dispatching sources. The intermittent input dynamics of solar PV system and time varying load power dynamics results in power fluctuations of hybrid DC MG. The MHPP cannot regulate these power fluctuations instantly due its operating dynamics. Therefore, AEMS has deployed a hybrid energy storage system (HESS) comprising battery and supercapacitor storage devices for co…
