Recent development of wireless communication systems and standards is characterized by constant increase of allocated spectrum resources. Resource allocation for clustered network MIMO OFDMA systems

In this article, we address the resource allocation problem for the downlink of a large network multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system with 3-sector base stations. The system is statically divided into a number of disjoint clusters of sectors. A two-step resource allocation scheme is proposed involving the inter-cluster and the intra-cluster levels. To meet the ever-growing traffic demand and address the cell capacity shortage problem, associating end users to various tiers of cells in a multitier cellular network appears to be a promising approach. On the Coincidence of the Feedback Nash and Stackelberg Equilibria in Economic Applications of Differential Games

In this paper the scope of the applicability of the Stackelberg equilibrium concept in differential games is investigated. Firstly, conditions for obtaining the coincidence between the Stackelberg and Nash equilibria are defined in terms of the instantaneous pay-off function and the state equation of the game. Secondly, it is showed that for a class of differential games with state-interdependence both equilibria are identical independently of the player being the leader of the game. We consider stationary consensus protocols for networks of dynamic agents. The measure of the neighbors' state is affected by Unknown But Bounded disturbances. Here the main contribution is the formulation and solution of what we call the isin-consensus problem, where the states are required to converge in a tube of ray isin asymptotically or in finite time.

Angle and Height Estimation Technique for Aerial Vehicles using mmWave FMCW Radar

In this article, we present a novel angle and height estimation technique for aerial vehicles using mmWave frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) Radar. In the proposed method, Radar’s antennas are oriented vertically to measure the elevation angle of arrival of the aerial vehicle from ground station. Height of the aerial vehicle and horizontal distance of the aerial vehicle from Radar station on ground are estimated using the measured radial range and the elevation angle of arrival.

Spectrogram Analysis of Multipath Fading Channels under Variations of the Mobile Speed

When modelling, analysing, and simulating mobile radio channels, it is generally assumed that the speed of the mobile station (MS) is constant. In practice, however, the mobile speed varies with time. Mobile speed variations result in nonwide- sense stationary multipath fading channels, which can be modelled by a sum-of-chirps (SOCh) processes. In this paper, we analyse the local Doppler power spectral density (PSD) of SOCh processes by using the concept of the spectrogram. The spectrogram provides an estimate of the local Doppler PSD and gives insight into how the Doppler PSD changes over time if the MS increases or decreases its speed.
