Atgriešanās līmeņa aprēķināšana ekstremāliem nokrišņiem Latvijā

Darbā tika aplūkota ekstremālo nokrišņu atgriešanās līmeņa aprēķināšana ar statistiskās modelēšanas palīdzību. Tas tika veikts ar divām dažādam metodēm, kas ietver sadalījuma piemeklēšanu datiem. Pirmā metode piemeklē sadalījumu gada maksimālām novērotām vērtībām (bloku maksimumu metode), otrā — datiem, kas pārsniedz noteikto slieksni (maksimumu virs sliekšņa metode). Lai pārbaudītu vai atrastais sadalījums atbilst datiem, tika veikti atbilstošie statistiskie testi. Tika salīdzināti abu metožu rezultāti novērotiem nokrišņu datiem Latvijā 1961.-2010. periodā. Le Sacre du printemps (1913) d’Igor Stravinski est sa première œuvre gravée pour le disque et l’une des plus enregistrées. Tous les plus grands chefs d’orchestre de phalanges internationales, abordant le répertoire d’orchestre du XXe siècle, ont enregistré l’œuvre, certains d’entre eux plusieurs fois au cours de leur carrière. Stravinski qui avait une idée très précise de la façon dont ses œuvres doivent être exécutées, a lui-même effectué quatre enregistrements du Sacre afin d’offrir un modèle à suivre, notamment quant au strict respect des tempi. Synergistic interaction between CCK and leptin to regulate food intake.

Abstract Leptin administered (either intracerebroventricularly, icv, or intraperitoneally, ip) acts in synergy with CCK to suppress food intake and body weight in lean mice or rats. The potentiating effect induced by the co-injection of ip CCK and leptin to inhibit food consumption in mice is mediated by the CCK-A receptor and capsaicin sensitive afferents. In vitro, studies in rats showed that a subset of gastric vagal afferent fibers responded to leptin injected directly into the gastric artery only after a prior intra-arterial CCK injection. Abstract The Dutch-Belgian Hemato-Oncology Cooperative Group and the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (HOVON-SAKK) collaborative study group evaluated outcome of patients (pts) with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in first remission (CR1) entered in 3 consecutive studies according to a donor versus no-donor comparison. Between 1987 and 2004, 2287 pts were entered in these studies of whom 1032 pts (45%) without FAB M3 or t(15;17) were in CR1 after 2 cycles of chemotherapy, received consolidation treatment, and were younger than 55 years of age and therefore eligible for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT). Dotajā darbā tiek meklēti neekstremālie atrisinājumi, kuri atbilst Dionu BIoniem vai citiem solitonu tipa atrisinājumiem. Kā zināms Dž. Švarca \cite{Schwarz:2014zsa}, H. Maldasena \cite{Maldacena:1998im} un R. Maijersa \cite{Myers:1999ps} darbos tiek analizēti dažādi ekstremālie atrisinājumi, dotajā darbā sākumā tiek analizēta D3 zondes brānas ekstremālā konstrukcija $ AdS_{5} \times S^{5} $ telpā. Rotavirus (RV) is the major cause of severe gastroenteritis in young children. A virus-encoded enterotoxin, NSP4 is proposed to play a major role in causing RV diarrhoea but how RV can induce emesis, a hallmark of the illness, remains unresolved. In this study we have addressed the hypothesis that RV-induced secretion of serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) by enterochromaffin (EC) cells plays a key role in the emetic reflex during RV infection resulting in activation of vagal afferent nerves connected to nucleus of the solitary tract (NTS) and area postrema in the brain stem, structures associated with nausea and vomiting. La temperatura atmosferica influenza fortemente la precipitazione, in quanto l'aria più calda è in grado di contenere, sotto forma di vapore, più acqua rispetto all'aria più fredda e quindi ha un potenziale maggiore in termini di acqua disponibile per eventuali eventi meteorici. L’equazione termodinamica di Clausius-Clapeyron (CC) descrive la relazione tra pressione di vapore saturo e temperatura assoluta dell’aria. Il carattere torrentizio di tutti i più importanti corsi d'acqua siciliani ha da sempre determinato esondazioni delle onde di piena e conseguenti allagamenti delle aree limitrofe provocando danni rilevanti. La valutazione delle piene e del rischio idrologico ad esse connesso può essere condotta secondo un approccio di tipo probabilistico attraverso il quale si determini una relazione tra la portata di piena di assegnata frequenza probabile ed il tempo di ritorno.
