Analysis of Spatial Disparities by a Structural Equations Model

This paper presents a new analytical framework for assessing spatial disparities among countries. It takes for granted that the analysis of a country’s performance cannot be limited solely to either economic or social factors. The aim of the paper is to combine relevant economic and non-economic (mainly social) aspects of a country’s performance in an integrated logical framework. The overstated generational gap in online news use? A consolidated infrastructural perspective

Recent research by Taneja et al. suggested that digital infrastructures diminish the generational gap in news use by counteracting preference structures. We expand on this seminal work by arguing that an infrastructural perspective requires overcoming limitations of highly aggregated web tracking data used in prior research. We analyze the individual browsing histories of two representative samples of German Internet users collected in 2012 ( N = 2970) and 2018 ( N = 2045) and find robust evidence for a smaller generational gap in online news use than commonly assumed. Joint construction of new knowledge demands that persons can express their statements in a convincing way and explore other people's arguments constructively. For this reason, more knowledge on different means to support collaborative argumentation is needed. This study clarifies whether structured interaction supports students' critical and elaborative argumentation. The study compares the quality of secondary school students' argumentation during structured and unstructured chat interaction. La finalidad de este trabajo es ofrecer un estado de la cuestión sobre el acceso y provisión de Servicios de Interés General (SeIG) en las áreas rurales de la Unión Europea. Se identifican fuerzas de cambio, oportunidades y dificultades relativas a los SeIG que pueden contribuir a impulsar o ralentizar los procesos de desarrollo rural. Se lleva a cabo una revisión de las principales aproximaciones teóricas y se presentan diversos análisis empíricos a partir de los escasos datos homogéneos disponibles. A partir del conocimiento adquirido se formula un conjunto de reflexiones sobre la función de los SeIG en los procesos de cambio rural en la UE.

Kontekstem badań było to, że niektórzy komentatorzy proponują różne struktury badanego tekstu. Celem badań stało się opracowanie struktury, którą zamieścił w tekście starożytny autor natchniony. Do tego posłużyła metoda retoryki hebrajskiej, którą opracował Roland Meynet. Udało się odkryć strukturę badanego tekstu. Jest to konstrukcja paralelna o schemacie: A (w. 1a) – B (w. 4ab) – C (w. 6b) – C’ (w. 9b) – B’ (w. 11abc) – A’ (w. 14a).
