Il X20 è una camera funeraria quadrangolare preceduta da un dromos che deriva da un preesistente arcosolio bisomo. Al suo interno accoglie 29 sepolture: dodici arcosoli per adulti e per bambini, una tomba a nicchia, due tombe a cassa e quattordici fosse pavimentali. Si è potuto accertare che l’aspetto attuale del cubicolo è il risultato di quattro fasi costruttive. Alla prima fase appartiene la decorazione ad affresco con temi floreali e vegetali, che riveste la parete settentrionale. Nella memoria si presentano i risultati preliminari su un processo di crescita elettrochimica di materiali nanostrutturati mediante l’impiego di stampi nanoporosi. Vengono quindi analizzate le possibili applicazioni del processo alla fabbricazione di semiconduttori nanostrutturati di interesse nel settore fotovoltaico, quali il CIGS, e le implicazioni dal punto di vista delle tecniche di caratterizzazione e di modellazione per dispositivi basati su tale tecnologia.

The western Calabria continental margin forms the transition between the Pliocene to Recent Marsili spreading center and continental Calabria, all parts of the upper plate of the Ionian subduction zone. Integrating high-resolution and crustal seismic images constrained by gravity modeling, we provide a detailed reconstruction of the architecture of the margin and develop a new scheme for its Miocene to present evolution. The paper discusses some interesting features of Sicilian fine grain calcarenites. Uniaxial, triaxial, oedometer and isotropic compression tests were undertaken on intact specimens of two types of calcarenite in order to investigate their mechanical characteristics. It was found that the strength and deformability is significantly influenced by the structure (fabric and bonding) and by the destructuration processes. A better understanding of fracture development behavior is gained through a combination of acoustic emission and photographic monitoring on non-homogeneous samples with natural pre-existing heterogeneities due to cementation or to density.
