The need for studies on the history of dependency linguistics has been recently pointed out, aiming at tracing back to the origin of hierarchical grammatical relations and dependency-oriented approaches before the advent of the most renowned Tesnière’s model (Imrényi/Mazziotta 2020a). This study investigates on the emergence of the concept of syntactic dependency in missionary linguistics, focusing on the role of Jesuit grammarians on the development of the notion of subordination. AbstractIn this paper I describe the two major Argentine experiences of gender training for the judiciary against the background of two relevant trends, women's entry in considerable numbers into the judiciary and the process of expansion of women's rights initiated after the restoration of democracy. The gap between the passing of progressive legislation and its lack of enforcement speaks of a tradition of women's subordination that is much engrained in our society and in its legal system. We prove optimal estimates for the decay in time of solutions to a rather general class of non-local in time subdiffusion equations in R d . An important special case is the timefractional diffusion equation, which has seen much interest during the last years, mostly due to its applications in the modeling of anomalous diffusion processes. We follow three different approaches and techniques to study this particular case: (A) estimates based on the fundamental solution and Young’s inequality, (B) Fourier multiplier methods, and (C) the energy method. Concessive connectors are the focal point of grammaticalization processes, based on several types of lexical sources. In Catalan, «jatsia» (that) is the result of a grammaticalization process based on an aspectual temporary adverb (or phase adverb), which is comparable to the process that produced «encara que». The case of «encara que» has already been studied specifically by Pérez Saldanya & Salvador (1995), while Klesper (1930), Badia (1982) and Cuenca & Massip (2005) have focused on «jatsia» (that).
