Poly(lactic acid) or PLA is currently considered as one of the most promising substitutes of conventional plastics, with low environmental impact, especially for food packaging applications. Nevertheless, some drawbacks, such as high permeability to oxygen, are still limiting its industrial applications. Nous examinons dans cet article comment des directeurs de PME agroalimentaires à fort ancrage territorial s’approprient la notion de développement durable et l’expriment dans leurs stratégies marketing. Nous examinons successivement leur vision du lien entre développement durable et performance, l’impact des caractéristiques environnementales sur leurs pratiques et les limites qu’ils perçoivent à cette volonté d’intégrer la durabilité dans leur stratégie au moment de sa mise en œuvre. Au-delà de l’argument commercial, la durabilité apparaît comme un levier intéressant du projet d’entreprise et de la mobilisation des salariés. Néanmoins, la démarche comporte aussi des limites.

The implementation of new special education legislation in Finland

This article examines the implementation of new special education legislation in Finland among students with significant disabilities. The data consist of a nationwide survey and field observations. In the analysis, a policy implementation framework is utilized as a theoretical lens. The findings suggest that schools and municipalities that had participated in long-term development projects had more capacity and willingness to reform special education practices substantially, suggesting that learning in one policy area can transfer to other domains across multiple levels of national and local governments. A Power Law Behavior in the Incentivized Italian Photovoltaic Market

The Italian photovoltaic (PV) marketis analyzed by using the data contained in the database that describes all PV Plants installed in Italy under the incentive program called “2nd Conto Energia”. It is shown that the cumulative probability distribution of the size of the installed PV plants has a broken power tail. An approach to partially quantify the effect of the economic, juridical and technical rules is introduced in order to show how the regulatory body influences the power tail of the cumulative probability curve.
