Flaring activity on the disk of Classical T Tauri Stars: effects on disk stability

Classical T Tauri Stars (CTTSs) are young stellar objects surrounded by a circumstellar disk with which they exchange mass and angular momentum through accretion. Despite this process is a crucial aspect of star formation, some issues are still not clear; in particular how the material loses angular momentum and falls into the star. CTTSs are also characterized by strong X-ray emission. Part of this X-ray emission comes from the heated plasma in the external regions of the stellar corona with temperature between 1 and 100 MK. Lynch syndrome (LS) is one of the most prevalent hereditary cancer syndromes in humans and accounts for some 3% of unselected patients with colorectal or endometrial cancer and 10%-15% of those with DNA mismatch repair-deficient tumors. Previous studies have established the genetic basis of LS predisposition, but there have been significant advances recently in the understanding of the molecular pathogenesis of LS tumors, which has important implications in clinical management. Dopo avere richiamato l’estesa vicenda storica della costruzione della chiesa Madre di Santa Maria delle Stelle a Comiso, iniziata nel 1736 e terminata due secoli dopo, il contributo è focalizzato sul tema del completamento della sua facciata con l’uso della struttura intelaia di calcestruzzo di cemento armato, progettata dall’ingegnere Santoro Secolo. In tempi più recenti, alcuni dissesti improvvisi hanno posto in evidenza il tema del rischio e la necessità di interventi per risanare la struttura architettonica. L’importanza del monitoraggio e della manutenzione, intesi come fondamentali strategie di conservazione, concludono l’articolo.

Se aportan datos sobre algunos táxones del grupo de Centaurea linifolia presentes en las sierras de la Comunidad Valenciana y áreas limítrofes. Como resultado se propone reconocer en C. antennata tres subespecies, con síndromes de caracteres propios, que ocupan áreas geográficas bien delimitadas y presentan un comportamiento ecológico diferenciado. Según esto, se propone la nueva combinación C. antennata subsp. caballeroi para las poblaciones del sur de Tarragona y norte de Castellón, seleccionándose además un lectótipo. Unambiguous structure elucidation of heterocyclic products from condensation-cyclisation reactions of enaminones by 2D INADEQUATE and 15 N NMR

The reaction of enaminones with 3-amino-2-cyanopent-2-enedinitrile can lead to an array of 12 possible products, depending on the reaction pathway and tautomerization.
