International audience; New experiments have been performed on a high-K basalt (PST-9) from Stromboli volcano, Italy, to constrain the physical conditions of golden pumice magmas at their storage level and discuss their petrogenesis. Fluid-present, H2O- and CO2-bearing, near-liquidus experiments were performed at 11508C between 100 and 400MPa and under oxidizing conditions. Glasses were analyzed by Fourier transform IR spectroscopy and their H2O and CO2 concentrations compared with those in glass inclusions.Most glass inclusions cluster near the 200MPa isobar, suggesting entrapment at a depth of ~8 km. Ultra-high temperature metamorphism recorded in Fe-rich olivine-bearing migmatite from the Khondalite Belt, North China Craton

International audience; We document the first occurrence of Fe‐rich olivine‐bearing migmatitic metapelite in the Khondalite Belt, North China Craton. Petrological analyses revealed two exotic assemblages of orthopyroxene+spinel+olivine and orthopyroxene+spinel+cordierite. Phase relation modelling suggests that these assemblages are diagnostic of ultra‐high temperature (UHT) metamorphism in the Fe‐rich system, with temperatures from 1,000 to 1,050°C at 0.6 GPa. U–Th–Pb SIMS analyses on zircon reveal a similar age of c. 1.92 Ga for the olivine‐bearing migmatite and an adjacent gabbronoritic intrusion that is therefore identified as the heat source for the UHT metamorphism. The article traces the evolution of the publishing practice in the field of translations undertaken by Alberto Mondadori after the Second World War. Through some letters of the publisher to his collaborators, the analysis highlights the nature of his choices, which were often motivated not only by the desire to publish complete works, but also by personal and political reasons, such as the desire of self‑affirmation, to introduce himself as a “new publisher in a new era”, in clear antithesis with the past.

Gli alunni stranieri non accompagnati costituiscono un universo eterogeneo che rappresenta una sfida per la governante dei processi formativi. Da qui la scelta di offrire uno spaccato sull'inserimento formativo dei MSNA nei contesti locali, attraverso una ricognizione delle rilevazioni svolte in realtà del Nord, Centro e Sud Italia. Unaccompanied foreign pupils constitute a heterogeneous universe which represents a challenge for the governing of educational processes. Hence the choice to offer an insight into the training insertion of MSNA in local contexts, through a survey of the surveys carried out in reality in Northern, Central and Southern Italy.

The Fouling phenomena in membrane bioreactors: a comparison of different mathematical modelling approaches

Eight different modelling approaches for membrane fouling modelling have been compared and the uncertainty has been assessed. Overall the eight approaches provided satisfactory results in terms of model fitting with the measured data. Different results have been obtained in terms of uncertainty bounds showing a different reliability of the model approaches. The study allowed to gain insights about the mechanisms which control fouling in membrane bioreactors.
