Susceptibility of Methyl 3-Amino-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylate to Acylation

Abstract In the search for a new method of synthesis of hybrid peptides with aminopyrazole carboxylic acid, we tried to force selective acylation at the aromatic amino group instead of at the ring nitrogen atom with fairly gentle acylating agents. The acylating agents used were acid anhydrides: acetic anhydride, tert-butyl pyrocarbonate, and 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxyacetic acid/dicyclohexylcarbodiimide. We succceded in acylation at this amino group with almost none at the ring nitrogen atom. Sometimes, however, acylation in small quantities at the ring nitrogen atom was observed as a by-product. Electronic Spectra of 2,2‘-Bithiophene and 2,2‘:5‘,2‘ ‘-Terthiophene Radical Cations:  A Theoretical Analysis

Analysis of the electronic spectra of 2,2‘-bithiophene and 2,2‘:5‘,2‘ ‘-terthiophene radical cations has been performed by using multiconfigurational second-order perturbation theory (CASPT2). Atomic natural orbital (ANO) type basis sets of split valence quality, including polarization functions on all heavy atoms, have been used. In agreement with experimental data, in the energy range below the lowest optically allowed transition of the respective neutral system, theoretical results predict two main absorption bands for both cations. Bei der Umsetzung eines Molaquivalents achiraler Carbonsaurehalogenide mit zwei Molaquivalenten rac-Alkoholen entstehen unter Mitwirkung von einem Molaquivalent einer optisch aktiven Induktorbase (tertiares Amin) partiell optisch aktive Ester sowie partiell optisch aktive Alkohole in zum Teil hoher optischer Reinheit (60 – 70%). Der im Ester gebundene Anteil an Alkohol sowie der nicht umgesetzte Alkohol haben entgegengesetzte Konfiguration. This chemical class concerns natural products, agrochemistry, molecular materials, biology and pharmacy, although it is certainly in coordination chemistry and in asymmetric catalysis using chiral transition metal complexes that P-chirogenic phosphorus compounds are the most used. T-šūnu imūnās atbildes noteikšana ar žurku TERT DNS imunizētās pelēs

Darbā tika pārbaudītas TERT (telomerāzes apgrieztā transkriptāze) ekspresējošas DNS konstrukcijās kas potenciāli var palikt par pretvēža terapeitiskas vakcīnas prototipu. Ar mērķi novērtēt konstrukciju spēju izraisīt specifisko T-šūnu atbildi tika veikts peļu imunizācijas eksperiments. Imūnas atbildēs noteikšanai tika veikta imunizēto dzīvnieku in vivo bioluminiscences attēlveidošana un liesas šūnu stimulācijā ar TERT antigēniem, nosakot citokīnus produkciju Tšūnās ar fluorospota testu un multiparametrisko plūsmas citometriju. Social integration in sports clubs: individual and organisational factors in a European context

Sports clubs are often perceived as important mediums for social integration, but the empirical evidence to support this claim is limited. This article sets out to identify individual and organisational characteristics that are conducive to social integration of members and volunteers. Drawing on survey data from 13,000 members and volunteers in ten European countries, an exploratory factor analysis identified three dimensions of social integration.
