Alliance portfolio diversity, organizational slack, and firm performance

In this paper we analyze whether and how the availability of internal resources in the form of slack influences a firm ability to deal with partner diversity in its alliance portfolio. Alliances with diverse partners provide access to a broader pool of complementary resources, but they also entail significant coordination costs. In this context, we argue that slack acts as a doubleedged sword that can either facilitate or hinder the management of interdependencies among different alliance projects. Florizīna un metformīna farmakoloģisko efektu salīdzinājums in vitro

Florizīns ir dabā sastopams polifenols ar pretdiabēta iedarbību. Metformīns ir visplašāk lietotais pretdiabēta līdzeklis. Cukura diabēta gadījumā ir palielināta brīvo radikāļu ražošana, traucētas endogēno antioksidantu aizsargspējas un pieaug glikēto proteīnu daudzums. Tāpēc antioksidantu efektu pētīšana ir tikpat svarīga kā glikozes līmeņa kontrole asinīs diabēta ārstēšanā. Maģistra darbā tika pētīti florizīna un metformīna antioksidantu un dziļās glikēšanas beigu produktu (AGE) inhibīcijas efekti in vitro. Rezultāti liecina, ka abām vielām piemīt antioksidantu īpašības DPPH testā, bet ne tik spēcīgi kā askorbīnskābei. Florizīns un askorbīnskābe uzrāda superoksīda dismutāzei līdzīgas īpašī…

Kvalifikācijas darbs “Interaktīva tiešsaistes apmācību un zināšanu novērtēšanas platforma” ir tiešsaistes sistēma, balstīta uz tīmekļa tehnoloģijām, kas paredzēta darbinieku apmācību organizēšanai uzņēmumos. Izstrādātā sistēma uzņēmumiem ļauj patstāvīgi organizēt darbinieku apmācības – apmācību dalībnieku reģistrēšana un pārvaldība tiek veikta bez sistēmas administratora iejaukšanās. Sistēmā pieejamās apmācības izveidotas uz SCORM standarta, kas nodrošina vizuāli patīkamu izskatu, interaktīvus mācību materiālus un plašu informāciju par lietotāju rezultātiem. Niniejszy artykuł rozważa kwestie podatku od towarów i usług rządzonego w prawie polskim ustawą z dnia 11 marca 2004 roku o podatku od towarów i usług, w związku z Dyrektywą Rady 2006/112/WE z dnia 28 listopada 2006 r. w sprawie wspólnego systemu podatku od wartości dodanej względem rekompensaty płatnej podmiotowi, którego jedynym wspólnikiem (akcjonariuszem) jest jednostka samorządu terytorialnego, takiemu jak spółka komunalna, wtedy gdy taki podmiot świadczy usługę w ogólnym interesie gospodarczym (UOIG) poddaną art. 106 ust. 2 TFUE.
