Controversies in ameloblastoma management: Evaluation of decision making, based on a retrospective analysis

Background The ameloblastoma management is still challenging to the high recurrence rates and significant morbidity associated with radical treatment. The purpose of this 10-year retrospective study was to analyze the influence of ameloblastoma type and treatment strategy on the long-term outcomes and recurrence rates. Material and Methods The retrospective analyses of 64 histologically-confirmed ameloblastoma cases was performed. Šīs sistēmas galvenais mērķis ir lietotāju pieredzes uzlabošana, izmantojot web-lietotni. Sistēma dod iespēju lietotājiem izteikt savu viedokli par piedāvātajiem servisiem un pakalpojumiem. Savukārt administratoriem sistēma dod iespēju pārvaldīt atgriezeniskas saites formas jautājumus un apskatīt lietotāju aizpildītas formas, lai veiktu atbilstošus uzlabojumus un korekcijas sistēmā kopējai lietotāju pieredzes uzlabošanai.

Proteins are the molecular players of fine-tuned regulatory pathways that underlie the behavior of any cell type. Derangement of this wide protein circuitry has a profound effect on cell life and ultimately contributes to the development of diseases such as cancer. New proteomic technologies are rapidly evolving to define and characterize the nodes of this altered protein network, both inside and outside cancer cells. Hopefully, these technologies will become user-friendly laboratory tools to improve cancer management from early detection to the development of rational and patient-tailored therapeutic strategies.

Maģistra darbā “Latvijas simtgade kā valsts tēla veidošanas līdzeklis” tiek pētīts jautājums, vai un kā Latvijas simtgades publiskās diplomātijas pasākumu kopums ietekmē Latvijas tēla veidošanos. Pēc veikto pētījumu par Latvijas tēlu izpētes, tika secināts, ka trūkst pētījumu un tajos padziļinātas izpratnes par valsts tēla un zīmola veidošanu un abu terminu būtiskajām atšķirībām, kā arī zīmolvedības koncepta nozīmi attiecībā pret valsts tēla veidošanu. Līdz ar to nav bijis pētījumu par valstiski nozīmīgu pasākumu kopuma – publiskās diplomātijas – ietekmi uz valsts tēlu. Pētījuma “Latvijas studentu mācību mobilitāte: Latgales reģiona piemērs” mērķis ir analizēt Latvijas studentu mācību ģeogrāfisko mobilitāti Latgales reģionā, aplūkot augstākās izglītības mācību iestādes izvēli un mobilitāti ietekmējošos faktorus. Pētījuma tēma nav plaši pētīta, galvenokārt ir pieejami atsevišķi pētījumi par jauniešu mācību mobilitātes ikdienas pārvietošanās ieradumiem uz izglītības iestādi. Bakalaura darba pētījums tika veikts balstoties uz Latgales reģionālo augstskolu (Rēzeknes Tehnoloģiju akadēmijas un Daugavpils Universitātes), studentu sniegtajām atbildēm anketās un intervijās.
