The wheel of collaboration tools
2006
Paper from the 2006 20th anniversary conference on Computer supported cooperative work We present a holistic framework for analyzing and specifying collaboration solutions, developed by an oil and gas company in response to practical needs in supporting integrated collaboration and information management. A typology of collaboration tool capabilities, termed the Wheel of Collaboration Tools (WCT), is described. We assess its contributions, and discuss areas of application and potential further development. Our intent is to stimulate discussion and research related to this type of collaboration modeling.

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Uzņēmuma Sia Gecko interneta mārketinga stratēģijas izstrāde”. Darbā tiek pētīti interneta mārketinga būtība, tā metožu pielietojums, kā arī interneta mārketinga metožu izmantošana uzņēmumā Sia Gecko. Devītās klases angļu valodas eksāmena korpusa sistēmiski funkcionālā analīze

Šis pētījums izstrādāts, sakarā ar kohēzijas zemāka līmeņa rakstu darbos, kā arī tekstu korpusu izpētes trūkumu Latvijā, izveidojot un analizējot rakstveida 9. klases angļu valodas eksāmena tekstu korpusu. Mērķis izpētīt gramatiskās kohēzijas lietojumu skolēnu rakstu darbos angļu valodā tika sasniegts, apvienojot uz tekstu korpusu balstītu statistisko analīzi un sistēmiski funkcionālu diskursa analīzi, izmantojot programmu UAM CorpusTool. Rezultāti liecina, ka skolēni ar zemāku angļu valodas līmeni spēj uzrakstīt saistītu tekstu, paļaujoties uz vietniekvārdiem, saikļiem un, vai, bet un attieksmes vietniekvārdiem. A methodological system for hydraulic heritage assessment: a management tool

Traditional irrigation systems are spatial units with a remarkable cultural and heritage value, which in turn generate water landscapes. They are part of hydraulic heritage, which includes material, ideational and symbolic assets. However, the assets related to historical irrigation systems and their landscape units have been poorly studied and evaluated. This paper develops a methodological system for the assessment of hydraulic heritage which combines basic and multi-criteria quantitative techniques. The authors conducted an evaluation of water heritage assets and their associated systems for the purpose of establishing a hierarchy for devising appropriate heritage management actions.

La valutazione tra pari in tale scenario può svolgere un ruolo importante e migliorare l'efficacia generale dell'apprendimento. Automatische Klassifikation der Lebersegmente nach Couinaud: Entwicklung eines neuen Algorithmus und Evaluierung an Spiral-CT-Datensätzen

Purpose: To develop a software tool that analyzes the anatomy of the portal vein branches and assigns segmental and subsegmental branches according to Couinaud's classification system and to evaluate its accuracy. Materials and Methods: The algorithm was developed in C++ on a PC. The algorithm recognizes the three major branching patterns of the portal vein. Segmental and subsegmental branches are assigned to 8 segments following Couinaud and encoded by 8 colors. The software was evaluated using CT data sets of 39 patients.
