B-meson decays toη′ρ,η′f0, andη′K*
2010
We present measurements of B-meson decays to the final states η′ρ, η′f_0, and η′K*, where K* stands for a vector, scalar, or tensor strange meson. We observe a significant signal or evidence for η′ρ^+ and all the η′K* channels. We also measure, where applicable, the charge asymmetries, finding results consistent with no direct CP violation in all cases. The measurements are performed on a data sample consisting of 467 × 10^6 BB(overbar) pairs, collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e^+e^- collider at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Our results favor the theoretical predictions from perturbative QCD and QCD factorization and we observe an enhancement of the tensor K*_2(143…

Positivity bound on the imaginary part of the right-chiral tensor coupling $g_R$ in polarized top quark decay
2017
We derive a positivity bound on the right-chiral tensor coupling Im $g_R$ in polarized top quark decay by analyzing the angular decay distribution of the three-body polarized top quark decay $t(\uparrow)\to b+\ell^+ +\nu_\ell$ in NLO QCD. We obtain the bound $-0.0420 \le$ Im $g_R \le 0.0420$.
A universal tensor network algorithm for any infinite lattice
2018
We present a general graph-based Projected Entangled-Pair State (gPEPS) algorithm to approximate ground states of nearest-neighbor local Hamiltonians on any lattice or graph of infinite size. By introducing the structural-matrix which codifies the details of tensor networks on any graphs in any dimension $d$, we are able to produce a code that can be essentially launched to simulate any lattice. We further introduce an optimized algorithm to compute simple tensor updates as well as expectation values and correlators with a mean-field-like effective environments. Though not being variational, this strategy allows to cope with PEPS of very large bond dimension (e.g., $D=100$), and produces re…
Search for anomalous Wtb couplings in single top quark production in pp¯ collisions at s=1.96 TeV
2012
We present new direct constraints on a general $Wtb$ interaction using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the D0 detector at the Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider. The standard model provides a purely left-handed vector coupling at the $Wtb$ vertex, while the most general, lowest dimension Lagrangian allows right-handed vector and left- or right-handed tensor couplings as well. We obtain precise limits on these anomalous couplings by comparing the data to the expectations from different assumptions on the $Wtb$ coupling.
A non-relativistic model for the $[cc][\bar{c}\bar{c}]$ tetraquark
2017
We use a non-relativistic model to study the spectroscopy of a tetraquark composed of $[cc][\bar{c}\bar{c}]$ in a diquark-antidiquark configuration. By numerically solving the Schr\"{o}dinger equation with a Cornell-inspired potential, we separate the four-body problem into three two-body problems. Spin-dependent terms (spin-spin, spin-orbit and tensor) are used to describe the splitting structure of the $c\bar{c}$ spectrum and are also extended to the interaction between diquarks. Recent experimental data on charmonium states are used to fix the parameters of the model and a satisfactory description of the spectrum is obtained. We find that the spin-dependent interaction is sizable in the …
Nucleon matrix elements from lattice QCD with all-mode-averaging and a domain-decomposed solver: An exploratory study
2017
We study the performance of all-mode-averaging (AMA) when used in conjunction with a locally deflated SAP-preconditioned solver, determining how to optimize the local block sizes and number of deflation fields in order to minimize the computational cost for a given level of overall statistical accuracy. We find that AMA enables a reduction of the statistical error on nucleon charges by a factor of around two at the same cost when compared to the standard method. As a demonstration, we compute the axial, scalar and tensor charges of the nucleon in $N_f=2$ lattice QCD with non-perturbatively O(a)-improved Wilson quarks, using O(10,000) measurements to pursue the signal out to source-sink sepa…
Tensor charges of light baryons in the Infinite Momentum Frame
2007
We have used the Chiral-Quark Soliton Model formulated in the Infinite Momentum Frame to investigate the octet, decuplet and antidecuplet tensor charges up to the 5Q level. Using flavor SU(3) symmetry we have obtained for the proton $\delta u=1.172$ and $\delta d=-0.315$ in fair agreement previous model estimations. The 5Q allowed us to estimate also the strange contribution to the proton tensor charge $\delta s=-0.011$. All those values have been obtained at the model scale Q^2=0.36 GeV^2.
Nucleon and delta masses in QCD
1992
Using the positivity of the path integral measure of $QCD$ and defining a structure for the quark propagator in a background field according to the fluxon scenario for confinement, we calculate and compare the correlators for nucleon and delta. From their shape we elucidate about the origin of their mass difference, which in our simplified scenario is due to the tensor structure in the propagator. This term arises due to a dynamical mechanism which is responsible simultaneously for confinement and spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking. Finally we discuss, by comparing the calculated correlators with the Lehmann representation, the possibility that a strong CP and/or P violation occurs as a c…
Quasi-Continuous Vector Fields on RCD Spaces
2021
In the existing language for tensor calculus on RCD spaces, tensor fields are only defined $\mathfrak {m}$ -a.e.. In this paper we introduce the concept of tensor field defined ‘2-capacity-a.e.’ and discuss in which sense Sobolev vector fields have a 2-capacity-a.e. uniquely defined quasi-continuous representative.
