The publication in 1696 of the Catalan-Latin dictionary Gazophylacium Catalano-Latinum by Joan Lacavalleria led to the incorporation into Catalan of a large number of technical terms, in spite of the early modern sociocultural context being unfavourable to scientific and technical developments. The Gazophylacium is the Catalan version of a French-Latin dictionary, Le Dictionaire royal augmente by Francois-Antoine Pomey. The paper takes the recent cases Erika Jőrös (Case C- 397/11,) and Asbeek Brusse,(case C-488-11), both dated 30 may 2013, as a starting point for a more general analysis of the ECJ’s approach to the legal consequences to be drawn by a national Court from finding that a contractual term is unfair. According to the Author, the approach adopted by the Court is the same that it has already been expressed in Mostaza Claro case. Šīs pētījums apskata krāsu izmantošanu, valodu un simbolismu 20. gadsimta antiutopiskajā literatūrā. Darba pamatuzdevums ir izpētīt krāsu paleti antiutopiskajos romānos: kādi krāsu termini ir izmantoti, kādas ir to galvenās funkcijas, simbolisms un konteksts. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, ir apskatīti pētījumi par krāsu simbolismu, kā arī tika savākti dati priekš kvantitatīvas and kvalitatīvas analīzes. Tika secināts, ka romānos Mēs, Brīnšķīgā jaunā pasaule un Kalpones stāsts izmantotās krāsas pārsvarā ir bāziskie krāsu termini, saskaņā ar Berlina un Keja teoriju.
