Level-Crossing Rate and Average Duration of Fades in Non-Isotropic Hoyt Fading Channels with Applications to Selection Combining Diversity

In this paper, we investigate the second-order statistics of Hoyt fading channels under non isotropic scattering scenarios. Assuming an asymmetrical Doppler power spectral density (PSD), we derive, in the form of single finite-range integrals, expressions for the level-crossing rate (LCR) and average duration of fades (ADF). These new results are then applied to obtain the LCR and ADF of selection combining (SC) diversity over non-isotropic Hoyt channels. Plazmas trimetilamīna N-oksīda koncentrācijas novērtēšana eksperimentālajā 2.tipa diabēta modelī

Bakalaura darbā tika analizēti bioķīmiskie marķieri diabēta attīstības raksturošanai un pētītas trimetilamīna N-oksīda (TMAO) un L-karnitīna koncentrācijas izmaiņas diabēta gadījumā. Iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka db/db pelēm, kam raksturīga aptaukošanās un 2. tipa cukura diabēts, bija ievērojami paaugstināta TMAO koncentrācija asins plazmā un tā palielinājās laika gaitā. L-karnitīna koncentrācija asins plazmā bija ticami zemāka nekā kontroles grupai tikai 12 nedēļas vecām db/db pelēm. Tika novērots, ka 8 nedēļu laikā db/db pelēm bija ticami palielināta ķermeņa masa, plazmas glikozes un insulīna koncentrācijas, kā arī attīstījusies insulīna rezistence. The incidence of cutaneous and mucocutaneous Leishmaniasis (CL/MCL) is increasing globally, also in Germany, although the cases are imported and still low in number. Stipa zeravshanica M. Nobis sp. nov. from the western Pamir Alai Mts (Tajikistan) is described and illustrated. Morphologically, the new species is similar to S. gracilis, but it is easily distinguishable by pilose (vs. glabrous) lower part of the awn, and generally somewhat longer ligules of the vegetative shoots. Epidermal patterns of the lemma in S. zeravshanica and three other closely related taxa, namely S. gracilis, S. himalaica and S. orientalis, were examined by means of SEM. Abstract Background In 2017, the ECO Foundation (Excellence and Quality in Oncology) completed the EIO-50 project to learn about the diagnostic and treatment criteria of opioid-induced constipation (OIC) in cancer patients. The EIO-Praxis project was designed as a continuation of EIO-50, to learn about the current clinical practice of oncology professionals for the management of patients with OIC (process, follow-up and results).
