[EN] The discussion about social dynamics in recent Pre- history is supported by the study of funerary practices. The presence and significance of individual and collec- tive burials in Final Neolithic/Chalcolithic societies in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula provides new evi- dence for the debate concerning the emergence of social inequalities in this region. The tombstone has long been neglected by historians. As obituaries and wills, tombstones reveal as much the relationship of the deceased to death that the management of their memory by their heirs. This study first shows the wealth of medieval Burgundy graves goods. Typological diversity adds to the richness of iconography with large amounts of effigial monuments. Tombs materialize burial of prestige. Originally reserved for prelates and princes, burial ad ecclesiam progressively extended to the feudal aristocracy and the bourgeoisie. Attraverso questo contributo si intende sviluppare una sperimentale “misurazione critica”, di tipo strutturalista, finalizzata all’individuazione dei “principi formali” sottesi al progetto architettonico della tomba Brion. Sulla base delle argomentazioni teoriche elaborate da Vittorio Ugo in riferimento al problema degli archetipi dell’architettura, si propone una “archeo-logia” del complesso sepolcrale, con lo scopo di effettuare una “classificazione” delle forme interne al monumento. Due le macro-famiglie alle quali si fanno appartenere gli archetipi individuati: quella dell’“archeologia della natura” e quella dell’ “archeologia dell’architettura.

La campagne de fouille 2015 de la Mission franco-croate Saint-Pierre d’Osor a porté sur l’achèvement de la fouille de l’église réduite engagée l’année précédente. L’église réduite du XVe-XVIe siècle correspond à une partie de la nef centrale et du bas-côté nord de l’église du XIe siècle dont elle conserve le mur gouttereau nord. Ce mur a fait l’objet d’une étude du bâti dès la première année de la mission en 2006, qui a permis d’établir le phasage complexe des élévations et de constater la présence d’une phase antérieure au XIe siècle au niveau de l’annexe nord (sacrisitie-memoria) Une première tranchée de sondage avait également été ouverte en 2006, révélant les vestiges du mur-stylobate n…

L’article présente une étude ethnoarchéologique dont l’objectif est de cerner les principales caractéristiques de la pratique de la tombe collective dans les sociétés traditionnelles de l’île de Sumba (Indonésie) et de montrer comment les éléments recueillis peuvent nous conduire à modifier notre manière d’appréhender les tombes collectives du Néolithique européen. Les sociétés sélectionnées sont les dernières au monde à construire des monuments mégalithiques dans le but d’en faire des tombes collectives.
