On the calibration of reactive energy meters under non sinusoidal conditions

This paper is focused on the problems related to the calibration of the reactive energy meters on the place of installation of the electricity meter (on-site), using the load of the same electrical system. In the presence of harmonic distortion, the behaviour of the meters can go out of the limits imposed by the theoretical calibration curve depending on the metric used by both reference standard meters and meters under test.

Darba aktualitāte: Epifora kļūst ar vien biežāks simptoms sakarā ar vispārēju populācijas novecošanos. Viens no biežākajiem tās iemesliem ir asaru drenāžas ceļu obstrukcija, kas var būt primāri (PANDO) vai sekundāri iegūta (SANDO). Latvijā līdz šim nav veikts neviens pētījums, izmantojot datortomogrāfijas dakriocistogrāfiju, lai noskaidrotu asaru drenāžas ceļu obstrukcijas lokalizāciju un noteiktu riska faktoru ietekmi uz obstrukciju. Asymptotic Hölder regularity for the ellipsoid process

We obtain an asymptotic Hölder estimate for functions satisfying a dynamic programming principle arising from a so-called ellipsoid process. By the ellipsoid process we mean a generalization of the random walk where the next step in the process is taken inside a given space dependent ellipsoid. This stochastic process is related to elliptic equations in non-divergence form with bounded and measurable coefficients, and the regularity estimate is stable as the step size of the process converges to zero. The proof, which requires certain control on the distortion and the measure of the ellipsoids but not continuity assumption, is based on the coupling method.

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir salīdzināt profesionālo subtitrēsanu ar fansubēšanu. Tiek salīdzinātas arī pašu profesionālo subtitrētāju un fansubētāju attieksmes. Fansubēšanas iesākums meklējams japāņu animācijas filmu tulkojumā, bet mūsdienās tas pārgājis uz citām jomām. Savukārt profesionālā subtitrēšana attīstījusies reizē ar filmu mediju. Pati fansubēšana ir cieši saistīta ar pirātismu un pārkāpj autortiesības. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā analizēti teorētiskie materiāli, kas ļāva atšķirt katra subtitrēšanas veida galvenās pazīmes. International audience; No-reference quality assessment is a challenging issue due to the non-existence of any information related to the reference and the unknown distortion type. The main goal is to design a computational method to objectively predict the human perceived quality of a distorted mesh and deal with the practical situation when the reference is not available. Si illustrano i risultati relativi al periodo altomedievale nell'area della Sicilia centro-settentrionale corrispondente ai bacini dei fiumi Torto e Imera settentrionale. I dati archeologici, frutto delle prospezioni qui condotte, testimoniano forme di popolamento rurale sparso, con poche eccezioni rappresentate da siti egemoni.
