Šaka-Hartmana aberometrijas izmantošana tīklenes biezuma mērīšanai in vivo

Darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 30 lappusēm, satur 26 attēlus, 3 pielikumu, 24 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: izpētīt Šaka- Hartmana aberometrijas pielietojumu tīklenes biezuma mērījumiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki: 10 cilvēki. Vidējais vecums 24,3 +/- 4,37 gadi (diapazons, 20- 35 gadi). Nevienam no pētījuma dalībniekiem nav konstatētas acu slimības vai sistēmiskas saslimšanas, kam ir ietekme uz refrakciju. Metode: ar Šaka- Hartmana aberometriju tika mērīts tīklenes biezums. Daļa rezultātu tika salīdzināti ar okulokoherento tomogrāfiju. Tika noskaidrots arī tīklenes fantoma biezums. Towards semantic modelling of cultural historical data.

In this paper a practical method is presented for creating documentation of cultural historical targets using an event-centric core ontology. By using semantic documentation templates and an XML-based query language, a domain specific documentation model can be created and flexible user interfaces can be built easily for accessing and editing the documentation. This study examines open access availability and self-archiving policies of 336 Finnish peer reviewed journals and serials which are classified at levels 1 to 3 in national Publication Forum. The study concludes that 53 % of Finnish peer reviewed publication channels are open access and 12 % of non-open access publication channels have defined their green open access policy to allow self-archiving. 6 % of publications practice delayed open access model and 2 % hybrid model. The study also concludes that only a small group of Finnish peer reviewed journals meet the focal Plan S requirements. peerReviewed
Radioluminescence Response of Ce-, Cu-, and Gd-Doped Silica Glasses for Dosimetry of Pulsed Electron Beams

Radiation-induced emission of doped sol-gel silica glass samples was investigated under a pulsed 20-MeV electron beam. The studied samples were drawn rods doped with cerium, copper, or gadolinium ions, which were connected to multimode pure-silica core fibers to transport the induced luminescence from the irradiation area to a signal readout system. The luminescence pulses in the samples induced by the electron bunches were studied as a function of deposited dose per electron bunch. All the investigated samples were found to have a linear response in terms of luminescence as a function of electron bunch sizes between 10−5 Gy/bunch and 1.5×10−2 Gy/bunch. Evolution of microstructure and related optical properties of ZnO grown by atomic layer deposition.

A study of transmittance and photoluminescence spectra on the growth of oxygen-rich ultra-thin ZnO films prepared by atomic layer deposition is reported. The structural transition from an amorphous to a polycrystalline state is observed upon increasing the thickness. The unusual behavior of the energy gap with thickness reflected by optical properties is attributed to the improvement of the crystalline structure resulting from a decreasing concentration of point defects at the growth of grains. Daudzu cilvēka ikdienas sastāvdaļu digitalizācija pēdejās desmitgadēs ir vērusi ceļu optisko rakstzīmju atpazīšanas sistēmām, kuru mērķis ir automatizēt rakstītu un drukātu dokumentu, piemēram, grāmatu, konvertēšanu datorrediģējamā formātā. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt optiskās rakstzīmju atpazīšanas procesus un metodiku, un, pamatojoties uz šo teoriju, izstrādāt optiskās rakstzīmjuatpazīšanas sistēmu, kas spēj atpazīt strukturētu Žujiņ (jeb Bopomofo) tekstu.

Red grape Nero d’Avola cultivar grape pomace powder (GPP) was applied during fresh ovine cheese production in order to increase polyphenol content. Before cheeses were produced, the bacteria of a freeze-dried commercial starter culture were isolated and tested in vitro against GPP. Two dominant strains, both resistant to GPP, were identified. Thestarter culture was inoculated in pasteurized ewe’s milk and the curd was divided into two bulks, one added with 1% (w/w) GPP and another one GPP-free.
