Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot saistību starp nesuicidāla paškaitējuma veidiem, motīviem un emociju regulācijas stratēģijām. Izlasi veidoja 101 abu dzimumu pieaugušie vecumā sakot no 18 gadiem, vidējais vecums – 24,02 gadi, 65 sievietes (64%) un 36 vīrieši (36%).
