The origins of Valencian ceramic tableware, one of the most coveted products of the Late Middle Ages, have traditionally been explained from the supply perspective. Comparison of inter-trial recovery times for the determination of critical power and W' in cycling

Critical Power (CP) and W’ are often determined using multi-day testing protocols. To investigate this cumbersome testing method, the purpose of this study was to compare the differences between the conventional use of a 24-h inter-trial recovery time with those of 3 h and 30 min for the determination of CP and W’. Methods: 9 moderately trained cyclists performed an incremental test to exhaustion to establish the power output associated with the maximum oxygen uptake (p V O2max), and 3 protocols requiring time-to-exhaustion trials at a constant work-rate performed at 80%, 100% and 105% of p VO2max. Tutkielma käsittelee päiväkodin henkilökunnan ja lasten vanhempien välistä kasvatuskumppanuutta vanhempien näkökulmasta. Äitien ja isien näkemyksiä vertaillaan keskenään. Lisäksi vanhemmilta tiedustellaan mitkä tiedottamisen ja viestinnän tavat olisivat heille sopivimmat. Aineistona on Jyväskylän kaupungin asiakaskysely vuodelta 2013 kunnallisten päiväkotien osalta. Aineistossa on 1162 vastaajaa (äitejä: 943 ja isiä: 219) ja se on analysoitu SPSS-ohjelman avulla. Tämä laadullinen tutkimus käsittelee vanhempien kokemia huolia lapsen päivähoidon aloituksessa. Tarkoituksena oli selvittää, mitä huolia vanhemmat ovat kokeneet hoidon aloitusvaiheessa ja miten he ovat ilmaisseet nämä huolet päiväkodin henkilökunnalle sekä miten työntekijät ovat huomioineet vanhempien huolia. Tutkimus tuo esiin vanhempien kokemuksia, jotka on lasten hyvinvoinnin lisäksi syytä ottaa huomioon päivähoidon aloituksen yhteydessä. Tutkimus osoitti, että vanhemmilla on erilaisia huolia päivähoidon aloitukseen liittyen ja että jos he kertovat huolistaan, niitä ei jätetä huomiotta.
