Pro Gradu tutkimus käsittelee tietojärjestelmän käyttöönottoprosessia case yrityksen Foster Wheeler Energia Oy:n Engineering osastolla. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on löytää kahden käyttöönottoprosessin sekä kirjallisuuskatsauksen pohjalta tietojärjestelmän käyttöönottoprosessin Best Practice suositukset. Kohteena oleva tietojärjestelmä on case yrityksessä tarkoitus jalkauttaa neljään eri yksikköön maailmanlaajuisesti. The focus has been on the considerable involvement of ergonomics within the engineering and implementation of VT. This multidisciplinary participatory ergonomic R&D approach (PERDA) is described briefly, in general and through two cases. The user-centeredness should be discernible in this sociotechnical systemic entity. The aim of this paper is to describe how consumers experience transmedia devices. Thanks to transmedia major components (narrative universe; platforms and rabbit holes; interactivity; and temporality), once it adheres to it, the user of a transmedia devices lives an experience characterized by participation, immersion and commitment, and, at the end, it leads him to be attached to the object of narration. These results guide to propose a model which emphasizes the central place of narrative transportation in the context of fictional universes presented via transmedia strategy.

Our everyday digital tasks require access to information from a wide range of applications and systems. Although traditional search systems can help find information, they usually operate within one application (e.g., email client or web browser) and require the user's cognitive effort and attention to formulate proper search queries. In this paper, we demonstrate EntityBot, a system that proactively provides useful and supporting entities across application boundaries without requiring explicit query formulation. Maģistra darba tēma “Lietotāju uztveres uzlabojumi saskarnēs atkarībā no to elementu izkārtojuma”. 2022. gadā, pēc statistikas datiem, saskarnes var palielināt tīmekļvietnes reklāmieguvuma līmeni par 200%, bet saskarnes dizains līdz pat 400% [71], tādējādi lietotāju saskarnes uztvere ir svarīga pētījuma tēma. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt un izanalizēt, kurās saskarnēs elementu izkārtojums uzlabo lietotāju uztveri.
