Il volume costituisce una guida completa e aggiornata al sistema drammaturgico-musicale wagneriano, alla sua ricchezza concettuale e ai presupposti estetici, filosofici e politici che ne furono alla base. Esta tesis estudia la recepción wagneriana en la ciudad de Valencia en el periodo 1874-1914. No se recoge la influencia de la obra wagneriana sobre otras creaciones, sino la presencia de la obra de Wagner y las referencias explícitas a la misma. Las condiciones económicas, políticas y culturales de la ciudad así como las características multiformes que en otros lugares tiene la recepción wagneriana de la época, son expuestas de manera introductoria. La naturaleza de la recepción valenciana lleva a estructurar la información positiva en dos secciones bien distintas: los acontecimientos escénicos en la ciudad y las obras literarias que se escriben sobre Wagner o con importantes referencias a …

Este artículo busca explicar el aspecto trágico en la producción wagneriana y su evolución combinando distintas perspectivas. En primer lugar recurriendo a un punto de vista teórico dentro de la perspectiva elaborada por el propio compositor en sus escritos, al tiempo que ofrece una interpretación de estas pretensiones dentro del panorama cultural de la época, calificadas como “romanticismo expansivo”. The 3-O-methylated estrogen derivatives 1a-d and α-estradiol (1e) underwent sulfuric acid-catalysed transformations to furnish the steroids 2–6. The processes involved in the reaction sequence are regioselective sulfonation and, above all, the Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement of the methyl group at C-13. With the objective of obtaining further information on the course of the Kober colour reaction of estrogens, some UV/VIS and ESR spectroscopic investigations were also carried out. The syndrome "basses richesses" of sugar beet in France is associated with different pathogen types and insect vectors

International audience; The syndrome “basses richesses” (SBR) of sugar beet in France is associated with two phloem-restricted uncultivable bacteria: a stolbur phytoplasma and a y-3 proteobacteria. The known vector of proteobacteria is a cixiid planthopper, Pentastiridius leporinus (Hemiptera Cixiidae), formerly shown to transmit both the prokaryotes. The role of P. leporinus and of two other planthopper species, Cixius wagneri and Hyalesthes obsoletus, in spreading the two pathogens to sugar beet were compared and quantified. The indoles 2a-2c react with diethoxycarbenium tetrafluoroborate (1) to furnish the indolecarbaldehydes 3a-3d. In the thermodynamically controlled reaction of 3-methylindole (2a) with 1 the tris(indolyl)methane 4 and diskatole (5), are formed in addition. The limitations of these reactions are discussed and evidence is presented for a C-3-ipso-attack and a Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement, respectively, leading to the formation of 3b or 3d.
