En este trabajo se realiza una lectura del mapa de manifestaciones apócrifas alrededor de la figura de Max Aub, escritor que construye un universo de superchería literaria desde sus obras iniciales, abarcando y fusionando diferentes géneros. A partir del contraste con algunos de los textos franceses que leyó, y que supusieron una herencia cultural de gran valor, se esbozará un panorama que incluya tanto a los maestros y predecesores en la práctica apócrifa aubiana, André Gide y Valéry Larbaud fundamentalmente, como a sus sucesores más representativos: los narradores leoneses creadores de Sabino Ordás. This is a transcription of the beginning of Walter Burley’s (c. 1275–after 1344) commentary on Aristotle’s Politics (book one, tractate one, chapter one). The transcription reproduces the text of Vatican, MS Borgh. 129, fol. 1r–148v (here fol. 2rb–6va), which has been accessed in a high quality digital reproduction in colour. The commentary has been dated between 1338/39 and 1342. The transcription includes two apparatuses. The first of them is dedicated to references, mainly to Aristotle’s Politics. Walter Mosley’s Devil in a Blue Dress contributes significantly to the literary debate on the definition of whiteness. The socio-historical construction of whiteness emerging from the novel is amplified by white imagery dovetailing with the claims made about white people directly. The Roman cabarets linked to Futurism were meeting places where the programme of the manifesto Ricostruzione futurista dell’universo was applied. Following the experiences of Bragaglia and Marchi at the Circolo delle Cronache d’Attualità and the setting by Giacomo Balla at the Bal Tic Tac, the entrepreneur and poet Gino Gori commissioned Fortunato Depero to decorate the Cabaret del Diavolo. Based on Dante’s Commedia, Depero would create an integral design of three spaces that configured an allegorical inverted reading of the Florentine poet’s journey to the afterworld.
