En aquest article presentem els resultats d'una investigació a gran escala sobre la Inseguretat Lingüística formal o laboviana (ILF). La mostra és representativa de l'univers estudiat -els joves valencians dels dos darrers cursos de l'ensenyament obligatori- i està formada pet 2190 estudiants entre 14 i 16 anys de 31 centres d'educació secundària de les localitats del País Valencià on es parla la llengua catalana. La ILF és un índex de la percepció que tenen els parlants de la distància que hi ha entre els seus usos lingüístics i les formes lingüístiques més prestigioses. UV variability and accretion in NGC 2264

Photometric variability is a distinctive feature of young stellar objects; exploring variability signatures at different wavelengths provides insight into the physical processes at work in these sources. We explore the variability signatures at ultraviolet (UV) and optical wavelengths for several hundred accreting and non-accreting members of the star-forming region NGC 2264 (~3Myr). X-rays from very young stars are powerful probes to investigate the mechanisms at work in the very first stages of the star formation and the origin of X-ray emission in very young stars. We present results from a 500ks long observation of the rho Ophiuchi cloud with a XMM-Newton large program named DROXO, aiming at studying the X-ray emission of deeply embedded young stellar objects (YSOs). We performed a deep wide-field (6.76 square-degrees) near-infrared survey with the VISTA telescope that covers the entire extent of the Carina nebula complex. Complementing the VISTA near-infrared catalog with Spitzer IRAC mid-infrared photometry improves the situation of the background contamination considerably. We find that a (J-H) versus (Ks-[4.5]) color-color diagram is well suited to tracing the population of YSO-candidates (cYSOs) by their infrared excess. We identify 8781 sources with strong infrared excess, which we consider as cYSOs. This sample is used to investigate the spatial distribution of the cYSOs with a nearest-neighbor analysis. Background: More than 50% of patients with Crohn's disease require intestinal resection at least once. Postoperative recurrence (POR) is almost uniform if prophylactic treatment is not started early. Laboratory formation of a scaled protostellar jet by coaligned poloidal magnetic field

International audience; Although bipolar jets are seen emerging from a wide variety of astrophysical systems, the issue of their formation and morphology beyond their launching is still under study. Our scaled laboratory experiments, representative of young stellar object outflows, reveal that stable and narrow collimation of the entire flow can result from the presence of a poloidal magnetic field whose strength is consistent with observations. The laboratory plasma becomes focused with an interior cavity. This gives rise to a standing conical shock from which the jet emerges. A tal efecto, comenzaré con el análisis del concepto de motivación en la fenomenología de Husserl para apreciar después su inflexión hermenéutica en la filosofía de Heidegger. Diplomdarba mērķis ir pārbaudīt kinestētiskās iesildīšanās uzdevumus vārdu krājuma apguvei angļu valodas stundās 5.klasē. Šāda diplomdarba tēma bija izvēlēta, jo autore uzskata, ka mācot 10-11 gadus vecus skolēnus, iesildīšanās uzdevumus jāizmanto vairāk, jo tie rada pozitīvu un draudzīgu atmosfēru klasē. Turklāt, skolēni tiek iesaistīti fiziskās aktivitātēs, un šīs aktivitātes ļauj skolēniem komunicēt no stundas sākuma radot jautrību, tādējādi rosinot un uzturot viņu interesi par angļu valodas mācīšanos aizraujošā veidā. Automatic auditory and somatosensory brain responses in relation to cognitive abilities and physical fitness in older adults

AbstractIn normal ageing, structural and functional changes in the brain lead to an altered processing of sensory stimuli and to changes in cognitive functions. The link between changes in sensory processing and cognition is not well understood, but physical fitness is suggested to be beneficial for both. We recorded event-related potentials to somatosensory and auditory stimuli in a passive change detection paradigm from 81 older and 38 young women and investigated their associations with cognitive performance.
