W artykule ukazano kształtowanie się kompetencji wielokulturowej przyszłych nauczycieli w kontekście globalizacji, zobrazowano charakterystykę głównych tendencji rozwoju w europejskiej przestrzeni edukacyjnej. Analizowano teraźniejsze badania odnoszące się do kwalifikacji zawodowych nauczycieli.

Rolę multidyscyplinarnego zespołu diabetologicznego w leczeniu osoby z cukrzycą podkreślają zarówno polskie, jak i międzynarodowe zalecenia. Znaczenie dostępności opieki psychologicznej dla samopoczucia i zdrowia psychicznego osób z cukrzycą (i ich opiekunów), a także dla wyników leczenia cukrzycy jest przedmiotem licznych analiz. Pomimo rekomendacji i badań pokazujących korzyści z interwencji i wsparcia psychologicznego, brakuje danych na temat rzeczywistej dostępności takiej opieki zarówno w Polsce, jak i na świecie.
The Role of Municipalities in Promoting Well-Being

The aim of the paper is to research different approaches to researching and promoting the well-being in municipalities. To achieve the aim, such qualitative and quantitative methods of research as comparing, grouping, graphical analysis, focus group methods will be used. The main results and findings of the paper are: the role of municipalities in promoting well-being is increasing contrary to the role of national or regional authorities, due to the autonomous functions of local authorities, intensive informative links and a wide range of available economic and social instruments.

The aim of the paper is to present the methodology and results of some empirical research of the assessment of well-being at local level in context of regional development. Frozen shoulder: a sympathetic dystrophy?

Diagnostic and clinical features of the frozen shoulder syndrome and the Sudeck syndrome are similar in many aspects. Radioisotope bone scan shows an increased uptake in affected areas in both diseases, while native radiographs show a progressive demineralisation. Measurement of bone mineral density (BMD) by quantitative digital radiography objectified these local decalcification processes in an early stage of the frozen shoulder syndrome; 10 of 12 patients with primary frozen shoulder had BMD decreases greater 21% in the humeral head of the affected shoulder compared to the non-affected side. Radzenes un epitēlija biezuma mērījumu atkārtojamība ar optiskās koherences tomogrāfiju

Darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 31 lapaspuses. Tas satur 14 attēlus, 10 tabulas un 44 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: novērtēt mērījumu atkārtojamību HOCT-1 ierīcei un izstrādāt ieteikumus turpmākajiem radzenes pētījumiem, izmantojot šo ierīci. Metode: Divu ražotāju SD-OCT ierīcēm – Maestro 3D un HOCT-1 - tika analizētas radzenes (RB) un epitēlija (REB) biezuma kartes centrā un 8 paracentrālos sektoros. Mērījumu atkārtojamība tika noteikta aprēķinot starp mērījumu standarta novirzi, variācijas koeficientu un starpklašu korelācijas koeficientu.
