Bakalaura darba “Sevis prezentēšana sociālajos tīklos: Andra Kiviča gadījuma analīze” mērķis ir noskaidrot Andra Kiviča prezentēšanas veidus sociālajos tīklos un lietotāju attieksmes pret tiem. Pētījuma problēma- sociālajā tīklā Facebook ikviens cilvēks veido savu virtuālo tēlu/identitāti, tāpēc svarīgi noskaidrot, kā konkrēta lietotāja daļa, sporta dēju dalībnieki, reprezentē sevi Facebook sociālajā tīklā. Synthesis and antibacterial activities of cadiolides A, B and C and analogues

International audience; The one-pot multicomponent synthesis of natural butenolides named cadiolides A, B, C and analogues has been realized. The antibacterial structure activity relationship shows that the presence of phenolic hydroxyl groups and the number and position of bromine atoms on the different aromatic rings are important features for antibacterial activity, besides it was demonstrated the tolerance of both benzene and furan ring at position 3 of the butenolide nucleus. Furthermore, none of the most relevant antibacterial compounds showed any cytotoxicity in freshly isolated human neutrophils.

The research elaborating emotions in organizational settings has increased considerably in recent years. However, we lack a comprehensive understanding of the role of emotions in learning at work. This review aimed to elaborate how emotions and learning are understood in the field of workplace studies, and how emotions and learning at work are related. For the review, 31 scientific articles were selected and analysed. We found that emotions and learning were understood in a range of ways in the articles. Artykuł ten w pierwszej kolejności prezentuje zainteresowanie osobą Arnolda Zweiga w Polskiej Republice Ludowej oraz opisuje recepcję tłumaczeń jego powieści autorstwa nieżyjącej już tłumaczki Wandy Kragen. W drugiej części niniejszej publikacji autorka skupia się na scharakteryzowaniu powieści „Junge Frau von 1914“ (Młoda kobieta z roku 1914).
A multicommuted stop-flow system employing LEDs-based photometer for the sequential determination of anionic and cationic surfactants in water

It has been developed an automatic stop-flow procedure for sequential photometric determination of anionic and cationic surfactants in a same sample of water. The flow system was based on multicommutation process that was designed employing two solenoid micro-pumps and six solenoid pinch valves, which under microcomputer control carry out fluid propelling and reagent solutions handling.
