Modelling residuals dependence in dynamic life tables: A geostatistical approach

The problem of modelling dynamic mortality tables is considered. In this context, the influence of age on data graduation needs to be properly assessed through a dynamic model, as mortality progresses over the years. After detrending the raw data, the residuals dependence structure is analysed, by considering them as a realisation of a homogeneous Gaussian random field defined on R × R. This setting allows for the implementation of geostatistical techniques for the estimation of the dependence and further interpolation in the domain of interest. Abstract The reaction of (Alk2SnO)n with OCH·CCl3 gives compounds of elemental formula Alk2SnOCH- (CCI3)O (Alk = Bun, Octn), probably by addition of the Sn-O bond to the carbonyl group. Mossbauer parameters suggest the occurrence of five-coordinated Sn, and polymeric structures with bridging three- coordinating oxygens are proposed. The assumption that C2SnO3 units with trigonal bipyramidal type structures are present is consistent with point-charge model rationalization of the quadrupole splitting. Abstract Diorganoantimony(V) complexes of the type R 2 SbClTrid (R = Me, Ph) containing dianionic, potentially tridentate Schiff-base ligands with ONO donor atoms (Trid 2− ) have been prepared and characterized. IR and NMR data suggest an octahedral coordination environment for the antimony atom with meridional arrangement of the ONO ligand atoms and a linear CSbC skeleton.

The geological scale for the middle Cretaceous currently used throughout the world was proposed by Alcide d'Orbigny in the XIXth century between the years 1842 and 1847 and establishes the succession of stages as Albian, Cenomanian and Turonian. In 1868 Renevier proposed that a supplemental chronostratigraphic division be intercalated between the Albian and the Cenomanian: the Vraconnian stage. The zona incerta system: Involvement in attention and movement

The zona incerta (ZI) is a large structure made of four neurochemically defined regions (at least, in rodents). It is globally involved in complex connections with telencephalic and brainstem centers. In this work, we focus on some of the anatomical links this structure develops with the cerebral cortex and the tectum. We also point to its integration within a larger basal ganglia network. The functions of this region are still mysterious, even if recent works suggest its participation in behavioral expression.
