A new pericentric inv(8) in acute nonlymphocytic leukemia.

1993

Abstract Chromosome studies were carried out on unstimulated bone marrow cells from a patient with a diagnosis of acute nonlymphocytic leukemia (FAB M6 ANLL). Cytogenetic analysis revealed a mosaic chromosome pattern 46,XX46,XX,inv(8)(p21q24). This pericentric inversion has not been previously described in ANLL. Because, fragile sites, zinc finger gene loci, and the MYC protooncogene have been localized to band 8q24, a putative role for these sites and genes could be considered.

The PASSI and Agile PASSI MAS Meta-models Compared with a Unifying Proposal

2005

A great number of processes for multi-agent systems design have been presented in last years to support the different approaches to agent-oriented design; each process is specific for a particular class of problems and it instantiates a specific MAS meta-model. These differences produce inconsistences and overlaps: a MAS meta-model may define a term not referred by another, or the same term can be used with a different meaning. We think that the lack of a standardization may cause a significant delay to the diffusion of the agent paradigm outside research context. Working for this unification goal, it is also necessary to define in unambiguous way the terms of the agent model and their rela…

Customer data collection infrastructure and Customer Experience Management:The SAQ Case Study

2017

Channel integration makes Customer Experience Management more complex and requires from retailers a regeneration of their value proposition. A longitudinal case study reveal a hierarchical sequence of operant resource triad: cultural mindsets, strategic directions for designing value propositions, and a dynamic system of capabilities for continually renewing customer experiences. The implementation of a customer data collection infrastructure, the adoption of an iterative and sequential innovation process, and the mobilization of cross-functional and multidisciplinary project teams, will help develop the firm’s dynamic system of capabilities.

Uzņēmuma reģistrācijas sistēmas klienta puses izstrāde mikroservisu arhitektūrā

2018

The European Union’s Development Policy: A Balancing Act between ‘A More Comprehensive Approach’ and Creeping Securitization

2016

More than a decade after the release of the European Security Strategy (ESS) in 2003, its affirmation that development and security policy should work together is still one of its most discussed features. The vision of a more comprehensive — if not integrated — approach to security and development was underwritten by substantial changes to the EU’s external relations bureaucracy following the 2009 Lisbon Treaty. This ambition raises several important questions regarding the potential ‘securitization’ of EU development policy and foreign aid. Have security concerns had a growing influence on EU development policy and aid allocation? Do key concepts that have become prominent since the ESS wa…
