This paper is an integral part of a broader research that aims to reconstruct the artistic path of Ismail Kadare and to highlight the structural elements of the invented narrative world, renamed Ismailand by “Is my land”, to indicate its subjective and unmistakable connotations. The subject of the analysis is the intertextual network through which Kadare connects his works in a single diegetic framework, which acquires its own hermeneutic validity in support of the poor adherence to the practice of socialist realism in force in Albania during the years in which the author was writing.

Il saggio ricostruisce temi e momenti della poetica giovanile di Girolamo De Rada, prendno spunto da alcune composizioni poetiche in italiano che precedettero la stesura e la successiva pubblicazione del poema "Canti di Milosao", l'opera che aprì la lunga stagione della letteratura romantica albanese. The essay reconstructs themes and moments of Girolamo De Rada's youthful poetics, taking inspiration from some poetic compositions in Italian that preceded the drafting and subsequent publication of the poem "Canti di Milosao", the work that opened the long season of Albanian romantic literature .

The Golden Fleece figures in Greek mythology as the objective of the voyage of the Argonauts. The incompatability of the object of the search with the effort invested in its acquisition has furthered discussion of the real meaning of the Golden Fleece, which has generally been accepted to be a metaphor since antiquity. Father Bartolomeo Di Salvo established an extensive collection of transcriptions of the Canti ecclesiastici della tradizione Siculo-Albanese (Ecclesiastical chants of the Italian-Albanian tradition in Sicily) in the 1950s and early 1960s. It was planned that this collection would be published soon after as the fifth volume in the Serie Subsidia of the Monumenta Musicae Byzantinae (MMB). A plan that in 2016, after about 50 years from the conception of the original editorial project has finally been realized with this publication.
