This qualitative metasynthesis investigated students’ meaningful learning experiences amid andragogical teacher education programmes. The programmes catered to the specific learning needs of adult students in the context of university-based teacher education. This study aimed to provide a wider picture of the frames of students’ meaningful learning in andragogical teacher education programmes. The findings revealed three major learning worlds of adult students’ meaningful learning, which formed a common system widening from the professional awakening to the transformative community and agency in society. The aim of this study was to build a conception as well as a substantive theory of adult learners’ group learning. The framework for this study is andragogy, which places the life context of adult learners at the center of the learning process (Knowles 1990). This study has been carried out using grounded theory as a research methodology. This article investigates how staff and management in Norwegian academic libraries have experienced the implementation of the new library management system Alma. As a new library management system is introduced, the need for learning on demand emerges. An anonymous survey was sent to all academic libraries in Norway, resulting in a total of 626 responses. This article presents the findings from this survey and provides some reflections on how a firm grip on knowledge management could have helped make such a transition easier.
