Uno strumento virtuale per il monitoraggio e il controllo di un impianto fotovoltaico a concentrazione

In questa memoria si presenta una sintesi delle attività condotte nell'ambito del progetto SERPICO ("Sviluppo E Realizzazione di Prototipi di Inverter per impianti fotovoltaici a Concentrazione", PO-FESR Sicilia 2007-2013, Misura 4.1.1.2). Il progetto ha riguardato lo sviluppo di un prototipo di impianto fotovoltaico-termico a concentrazione e del relativo sistema di monitoraggio e controllo. Tale sistema permette di acquisire le quantità sia elettriche che termiche. Inoltre esso implementa un algoritmo per l'inseguimento solare utilizzato per ottimizzare la produzione di potenza.
A multifaceted field sampling approach for the management of extremely narrow endemic vascular plant species

Extremely narrow endemic plant species (ENEs) are generally connected with micro- refugia characterized by particular environmental conditions. In-depth knowledge of the ecological requirements of ENEs is fundamental to plan appropriate conservation measures. Using cross-cutting technology, this paper gives a multifaceted approach to collect on-site data on the ecology of ENEs, defines the protocols for a correct sampling design and describes the type of equipment, the time and expenditure needed. A PC-based instrument for automatic monitoring and control of a CPVT power plant

A PC-based instrument has been developed for the monitoring and control of a concentrated photovoltaic and thermal (CPVT) power plant. The instrument allows acquiring both electrical and thermal quantities. Moreover it implements the solar tracking algorithm used to optimize the power production.
Smilts-grants un smilts atradņu krājumu aprēķinu metodes

Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt smilts-grants un smilts krājumu izmaiņas, salīdzinot Latvijā populārākās aprēķinu metodes ar trīsdimensionālo modelēšanu datorvidē. Precīza derīgo izrakteņu tilpumu aprēķināšanas metodika ir svarīga gan derīgo izrakteņu izstrādātājam, gan izstrādi regulējošajām valstiskajām institūcijām. Iepriekšējie pētījumi analizēja derīgo izrakteņu krājumu izmaiņas, izmantojot divdimensionālos slāņu virsmu modeļus, savukārt šajā pētījumā tiek analizēta jauna pieeja sarežģītas uzbūves smilts-grants un smilts atradņu krājumu aprēķināšanā, izmantojot slāņu saguluma trīsdimensionālo modelēšanu. This study examined how social media (Twitter and LinkedIn) relates to the operating revenue by investigating the effect of the use of social media by the board of directors. To tackle this question, we analyzed the mediating and moderating relationship of social media on the effect of board size in operating revenue (turnover). We studied the implications of the use of social media by the board members by using structural equation modeling (SEM). The data consisted of a random sample of 100 companies listed on the NASDAQ. This article analyses Social Media (SM) use as a promotion tool for public institutions in the public audit sector. The authors propose a quantitative model to assess online engagement of 94 European audit institutions (national and regional) with their stakeholders, based on SM and web activity metrics of these institutions, with a focus on pressing matters such as environment, sustainability and the current COVID pandemic. Mediante una rassegna sintetica di studi e ricerche, il capitolo propone spunti per l’analisi di un particolare aspetto del sistema italiano di prima e seconda accoglienza di rifugiati e richiedenti asilo: gli operatori e le operatrici dei servizi. Gli studi sulla violenza di prossimità subita da migranti, principalmente di genere femminile, in transito nei centri per rifugiati e richiedenti asilo e sulla presa in carico da parte dei servizi sociosanitari segnalano criticità: alcune di esse concernono aspetti strutturali del sistema di accoglienza (normativa di riferimento), altre ineriscono ai criteri discrezionali propri dei centri.
