In a context of reassessment of fossil fuel-based energy systems, local authorities have a key role to play. This study investigates the association between post-secondary education and well-being in international comparative perspective, conceptualizing well-being as a capability-informed measure of flourishing. Based on a combined human capital–capability approach, post-secondary education, operationalized as highest post-secondary educational credential, is hypothesized to relate positively with well-being net of individual-level and country-level controls at both the micro and macro levels of analysis. Metal hoards are emblematic discoveries of European protohistoric societies and therefore an extremely dynamic research theme. However, even though there are many synthetic studies concerning Bronze Age practices, they are much less frequent concerning Iron Age deposits. In fact, since 1995 (Kurz 1995), no synthetic inventory on this subject had been carried out despite the regular increase in the number of discoveries since the development and multiplication of preventive archaeological excavations. Contrairement aux hypothèses écologiques initiales, le parasite et ses hôtes ne semblent pas privilégier certains modes d'occupation du sol plus que d'autres.
