From the memory of the experience to the relationship with the retailer : a theoretical and methodological exploration in the field of retail

Our research proposes an enrichment of the experiential paradigm by focusing on the consequences of experience. We support the view that an approach by the memory of the experience can partly compensate for the limitations of satisfaction in understanding the retailer-customer relationship. Within the course of the theory of cultural consumption (CCT), this research aims to enlighten on the relationship between the consumer to hir or her system of consumption. The first part, qualitative, attempts to describe the nature of the relationship between the consumer and his or her system (the wardrobe in our case) through an anthropological study and a semiotic study. In the Kingdom of Sicily in the seventies of the Eighteenth century king Ferdinand of Bourbon, thanks to the decisive intervention of the local rul-ing élite, proceeded to bring into the list of the interests of the state ar-chaeological findings. The king prohibited the unauthorized export of the finds and proceeded, on the basis of the Neapolitan example, in the organi-zation of the Regia Custodia, a monumental and archaeological custody plan. In December 1798 Ferdinando and Maria Carolina then moved the court to Palermo, starting the construction of hunting reserves in the Nea-politan model, such as the Ficuzza estate, and promoted new areas for pro-duction purposes. Il contributo presenta brevemente due architetture ottocentesche presenti, ormai come frammenti isolati di una storia dalle trame ben più fitte e complesse, nell'area della Fossa della Garofala, sottolineandone l'interesse che, al di là delle caratteristiche dei due edifici e del loro "valore artistico", risiede precipuamente nel ruolo di testimonianza di una fase della storia urbana e culturale di Palermo in larga misura cancellata dalla speculazione edilizia.

In Plautus theatre there are two characters opposing to ‘comic’ love and his gallantry: they are the truculentus, characterized by rough wildness and by hostility to the female charm, and the rusticus, repulsive and unpleasant for his belonging to the country. The goat (hircus) symbolizes all this, identifying the invenustus amator par excellence, because of the bad smell.
